I love my local venues. Only wish and recommendation for this theatre is to consider please ticket line separate from food purchase. It is not fair that we purchase on line ticket but have to wait in line behind everyone getting food and when you only have 1 poor young lady covering as the other acting like has "busy" work. At this visit, I just went ahead and went in because we were going to miss all the previews to up and coming movies. The problem was that I did not know what screen and use to be able to look on top of doors and on this night no name available so I just asked people as they were going in what movie were they watching.. I had 6 in my party. Later I got up to officially check in my tickets. Attempted to purchase hot dogs but poor girl had to wait for the other "busy" girl to respond to her. Almost felt like she was ignoring her, but the young lady was really trying, she was handling the concession, getting the popcorn and drinks and all the other girl had to do was respond to her how long, and if any more hot dogs available. The poor girl kept apologizing and walking back there to check and I saw the other girl just walking back and forth with no response. She acted almost like a lead and tge young lady might have been new. But despite how busy, it's still called team work. I almost felt like jumping in helping her. Again not that she was not capable but I don't thinks it's fair to have only one person do tickets, get popcorn butter popcorn, get drinks run to the back for hotdogs and make nachos. Actually appeared that there were 3 staff but only 1 in front. Again, please consider ticket line separate from food line. $4.00 movie not available any more just fyi on Tuesday. We'll at least not the Tuesday I went. Chairs are nice, when the remodel new chairs were put in but no recliners. Most theatres now have them. Temperature was decent but still bring in a blanket. Place still needs touch up, since Covid, same baseboards, not finished, looks a little blah, stills needs a "facelift" but again saves from driving to NB If just want to stay close. Handicapped spots right in front....
Read morehere's my updated review from two years ago:.. solid 4 star 🌟, no longer 2 or 3..its a small town chain, and i do what i can to support the continued existence of the big screen movie experience in the age of coronavirus and streaming movie platforms.. every theater room is being upgraded with new carpet and new seats.. a vast improvement of the decades old carpet and old thin seats!.. while visiting family in town i always drop by to see what's showing.. new ticket prices are always $5 day or night.. hopefully, soon, the main lobby and hallways carpet will be installed. the seats are not fancy inclined leather like in pricey big city places, but the new thick solid cushion and cloth is fine unless your really picky. I've seen 3 recent studio releases for bargain price , and the concessions are still reasonably priced. so disregard my 2 yr old review if its still up.. things looking better at the old...
Read moreMovie was great. Location has gotten better as far as cleanliness and seating. HOWEVER, the concession stand needs some work. My niece and I went this past saturday. We attempted to order the Large Duo, which says 2 large drinks and a large popcorn. We asked for 2 icees and was told Icees arent part of the drinks. I was confused because that is not listed as "excluded" anywhere. I even asked the cashier and he said he didnt know. We ordered large icees anyway and I guess I should have known, but when we attempted to get refills on our large drinks, Icees werent included in that either. No theater I go to does this, except this one. I wouldnt have an issue if it was notated somewhere but it isnt. Then we tried to order nachos with chili and cheese. They were out of chili. This theater is next door to HEB!! Run over and get a large can for your customers. So my niece ended up with as...
