So I had an old hard drive from a late but beloved Macbook. Solid state drive. I wanted it put into a wide screen laptop for a sister who's a photographer but is having eye troubles. Brad reformatted the drive and put it into an 17" Toshiba, a little older but it looked very nice and was perfect for the situation. He also sold me a cute tablet/laptop hybrid that has become my daughter's machine, to her very great joy. He brought it out to me at a coffee shop when I was stranded there for a day because of car troubles, and needed to get work done. Needless to say, these guys have earned some loyalty from me. After spending all day with apple support, then an appointment with the Genius Bar at the Apple Store, then apple support again…Apple told me there is nothing they could do about my iMac. That it is pretty much a paperweight. I refused that answer and called bits and bytes. The gentleman walked me through everything and we managed to get the operating system installed in a little over an hour! TAKE THAT, APPLE!!!

My MacBook Pro had a failed SSD. Brad answered my first call and he effortlessly demonstrated his knowledge/expertise over the phone as we discussed the issue + possible remedies. He clearly communicated his availability, expectations for cost and the process for the repair.

I looked up the cost of some replacement parts before I called so I had a number in my head that I expected to pay. I was so surprised by the price he quoted on the phone that I decided to pay the "rush fee". The repair was complete and laptop back in my hands 26 hours after I dropped it off and I still saved a ton of money compared to what I thought it was going to cost.
