We walked in and the lady said "Hello!" and we said the same then she just stood in the walk way staring at us. We didn't know if they didn't want people coming in or not because she just stood there staring saying nothing else while blocking the way up the ramp to the front room till I started moving some then she stood sideways to let us slide by instead of walking behind the counter/office area to make it easier. Hard to walk around because the place is packed to the gills with stuff including of course all the glass bottles on shelves that shake when you walk on the creaky floor. Cool bottles but not a fan of shop set up. The shop owner was interesting to talk to and his wife eventually made some small talk but just doesn't seem to be a real shop as much as someone displaying there collection...
Read moreWe just recently discovered this gem. We love going in and looking as we see something different each time. Just so much to see at once you miss things. We have just recently started a bottle collection and enjoy speaking with the owner and learning all about his digging adventures and schooling us on bottles. Its always nice to learn from those who have a real passion. If your out that way and you love bottles and antiques it's definitely a place you will want to stop and take a look around and hey maybe start a bottle collection...
Read moreEXTREMELY rude gentleman who tried to accuse my husband and I of stealing a newspaper. We were extremely respectful and also defended the store and owner when other people were complaining about it, might I add. I will not be returning as this is no way to treat paying customers. There are numerous other amazing stores in the area. I would avoid this one at all costs.
Edited based on owner’s response: while we were in the store, the owner said “I have cameras and can go back and look.” Tell me again how you weren’t accusing us...
