I am usually a Cava girl. But, with being on a time crunch and not being able to drive all the way to Arundel Mills, I decided to order ahead Mezeh and give it a try. Similar menu, so I had hoped to have found a new Mediterranean spot for quick food. Boy oh boy was I proven wrong. While the staff there was nice, my bowl was completely wrong. I ordered rice, got greens instead and no rice. Was not made aware that some ingredients were out. When I went in to let them know my bowl wasn't made correctly, they did add the missing ingredient of what they had, but it still wasn't technically what I ordered. I hadn't noticed that I wasn't given the falafel I ordered, which in all honestly was the main reason I wanted to go. I was given the vege kefta and didn't notice until I was home and eating. As for the flavor, the food is really just lacking. I'm used to Mediterranean food having big bold flavors and while I wasn't expecting it to taste exactly like Cava, I expected the same level of flavor, especially since it smelled so great in there. It was lacking, there seamed to be next to no seasoning and since they didn't have the dip I ordered, the tahini I had only did so much.
I honestly wish I hadn't wasted 20 bucks on this food.
TL;DR 2 stars simply just cause the staff was nice, other than that it...
Ā Ā Ā Read more*Came back to add to my original review. I originally wanted to leave a positive review because the food is actually good AND because Iām happy thereās more food options in town. But thereās a major major problem with management and staff. We order a lot and not one time has it been on time. An example is our current orderā¦. We place an order. Wait even longer than time given at checkout. Only to arrive and they havenāt even started it. Mind you, itās 5:00 on a Monday⦠They were out of like 5 different things in my bowl and my husband had to call to see what I wanted instead. I said to tell them to just double the protein (without charge) since they were out of half of what I ordered and could hear the person arguing they couldnāt do that. What?! We are done with this place. So so sad. Mezeh if you care enough to listen, you need to clear house and start fresh because this is crazy. Read the rest of the reviews!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'd call this place "Meh-zeh". The kids loved it, and that's always a plus, but I was a bit underwhelmed by the food. Portions are generous, though, so if you find something you like you won't leave hungry. I tried a mixture of shredded lamb, chicken shawarma, and chicken kabob. I only enjoyed the shawarma. I did like the spicy hummus, though. Prices were a bit on the high side with 3 meals and 3 drinks costing $52, but the quality of the food is excellent because of the great ingredients. I might come here again, especially if the kids ask me to, but it won't be high on my list.
20 Mar - I met a friend here for lunch (their choice, not mine), and I was pleasantly surprised. This time I only got beef and chicken shawarma with spicy hummus, baba ghanoush, kalamata olives, and tzatziki sauce. My food was quite good this time! I still feel like it was a bit pricey, but the ingredients are top quality and they are quite generous. I've given them an extra star, and I do think I would recommend you at least...
