Unbelievably slow service! Stopped in here yesterday and waited over 30 minutes from the time I ordered to the time I actually got my sub. I mentioned something to the manager (possibly owner but I'm not sure) and all he said was "Sorry, there are a lot of online orders before yours". I asked if we could just have our two subs made so we can get going but they said they "cannot do that" because the other orders were placed first, regardless of what time those online orders will be picked up. Well, that's great and all that you are working on a first order first made basis, but allowing customers that are actually at the location and waiting for their sub to remain waiting there for 30+ minutes is ridiculous. The system they have here is asinine. Firehouse Subs corporate really needs to do something about this franchise because it is run so poorly compared to other Firehouse Sub locations I've been to. I brought someone here for the first time yesterday and I doubt she'll ever eat at a Firehouse Subs again because of our awful experience. She also barely had any meat on her small cheese steak sub. I'd also like to point out that while we were waiting for 30+ minutes for our food, we kept telling people who were walking in about the long wait ahead of them and many chose to eat elsewhere. Poorly run restaurants like this one give a bad name to all Firehouse Subs. Hopefully corporate does something about this Franchise, like give the owner some training on how to properly run a sub shop (it's not like it's rocket science). I will be contacting them next and inquiring as to why this location is run like it is and why they allow it to continue. I'm not the only person who has experienced such a long wait. I honestly still can't believe I waited that long for a sub (that wasn't even very good btw), but the manager assured me at the 20 minute mark that my sub was only 3 subs away from being made...I then proceeded to wait another 10+...
Read moreFirst and foremost, I am a "ROOKIE"😉 lol, to Firehouse subs, so tonight being my first experience I would have to say, they don't provide enough stars on here for me to truly express how AMAZING this place is. So I will instead give it 💯👍🆙.. From MIKE, the exceptionally polite and extremely helpful and knowledgeable crew member with his recommendations and very welcoming attitude, the ABSOLUTELY UNDENIABLY DELICIOUS food, the overall cleanliness, ambiance and warm comforting atmosphere, the wait time that was more than gracious enough, to RON, the owner, who gave me my very own nickname, making me feel right at home... I couldn't be more pleased with everything. And to those who have negative comments about wait time, everyone is entitled to their opinion, freedom of speech, but do take into account that this is a business, that is trying to please and do their best with every customer, and between call in orders, online, and in store, there are only 2 ovens and only so much a crew can do to complete each order. There are no fairy wands or finger snaps, they are doing the best they can to please multiple people at multiple times and sometimes u just can't please everyone.. but I'm positive they try. Just put yourself in a business like that's shoes is all I'd ask. But the food and service were so exceptional, that even if I'd have had to wait 30 min, which I didn't at all, I gladly would have. CAUSE IT WAS WORTH IT. Keep up the good work guys, you're on 🔥!!!... Thanks Mike and...
Read moreI love Firehouse Subs. It is my favorite sandwich shop and I have reviewed several over the years, but I'm afraid this may be the last time I spend my money at one. I have stopped at this location a few times because it is the only one between where I am working and the hotel I am staying that is 35 miles away. The time before when I was here and this time, I asked if they would please extra toast my bread (which they have as an option) because I have a way to go before we eat and I do not want the bread to be soggy and unedible. Neither time was my bread extra toasted (it may have been lightly toasted but it was hard to distinguish because the bread was mushy and unedible). This last time, they even talked loudly about me behind the counter (I know this because I was even mentioned by name) and how I have a long way to go and how I come in there all the time. Honestly, I almost just walked out and frankly I should have. It costs approximately $11 each for a medium sub with no chips nor a drink and I can't even eat it nor can my family. The bread is just a soggy mess from the steamed meat. All I asked was that it was extra toasted so it would not do that and I was completely disregarded and in my...
