I don’t normally review places but I just had to say thank you to the two sweet ladies with red and green hair who was working on the 9th! I’ve never booked a hotel by myself until this trip and I mistakingly booked only 1 night instead of two. When we got back to our hotel someone new was in our room and our stuff was gone. My and my boyfriend were in distress but we thankfully got most of our stuff back. We were in such a bad mood so before we got on the highway to go home I decided to see if I could find a milkshake somewhere. Thankfully there was a CM location close to the highway for us and we each got milkshakes to cool us off. The two ladies (I wish I had gotten their names) were genuinely so kind, helpful, and sweet to us that we left extremely happy and weren’t upset anymore and it made the ride home much easier on our minds. Spent almost $90 on candy yesterday. My husband and I neither one liked any of it that we sampled, after we got home, except the fudge. Even the candy apples are made using sour green baking apples (nasty). Really disappointed that we wasted so much money. Was going to give as gifts but will probably toss all of it. Amazing sweets here. However, we have kids with nut allergies. And while i realize a place selling walnut fudge and peanut covered candy apples will have some cross contamination issues. In this day and age with so many kids having nut allergies there could be some things done to accommodate. Most of the ice cream here was nut free but they said they only had 2 scoops and that they might have touched pecans. Easily could have washed the scoop and dipped from a...
