I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this location. I went in to return an item I had purchased earlier, but after the return was processed, I noticed I was missing $5. When I asked the cashier about it, she rudely informed me that it was because the item had a $5 gift card promotion attached. I asked if I could simply return the gift card instead, and she dismissively said no.
I then requested to speak with a manager, to which she responded, âIâll call the manager, but sheâs not going to help you anyway.â Meanwhile, as we waited, she was actively telling other customers in line to go somewhere else because she refused to help them. I was shocked by her complete lack of professionalism and disrespect toward guests.
When the manager arrived, she was initially going to issue me a $5 gift card for the inconvenience, but the cashier aggressively interrupted and insisted that I wasnât getting anything. It was clear the manager was intimidated by the employeeâs behavior, which is absolutely unacceptable. I asked the manager if she truly thought it was okay for me to be treated this way, but instead of addressing the situation, they told me to leave the store or they would call the police.
For what? Because I took a photo of the cashier for documentation? Stores have surveillance cameras running at all times, yet they suddenly have a problem with a customer taking a single picture? There are no posted signs prohibiting photography, and they had no valid reason to threaten me with removal.
I cannot believe this employee is still working here with the way she treats people. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Well I had ordered it via Wal-marts website as the Shakopee location said they had 6 in stock - Next day I get a message that my order is delayed, I go into store, where I had to call their support line just to find out that I had to cancel the order and now need to wait 5 business days to get my money back for an item they lied about being there. Frustrated, I went to the Shakopee Target as their online site said they had 4 in stock, after searching the toy section for a bit, I walked to the Customer Service area and inquired about it, they were SO helpful up there! The young gentleman looked up the item via keywords as my phone had died and was able to see they did in fact have some in back, he made a call and they brought it up front for me. Best part, it was on sale! So instead of spending $190, I only spent $170 after taxes. From now on when it comes to ordering online and trusting 'In Stock' status I will always go to Target. FYI their online stock updates everyday at 6am from what I was told, so if you check later in the day they 'may' have sold some by the time you get there :) So just keep...

I am regretting that I could not stay friend with one deaf employee who works here at this store. Some of reviews caused me to unfriend her. I canât understand why some shoppers kept jumping conclusions about employees.
