The Salvation Army, Family Store — Local services in Shamokin

ORIGINAL REVIEW, 2019: Not 5 stars only because it's a small store compared to others I've been to but I do have to say the employees here were great and I will definitely return over and over because of the customer service and courteous manners of the employees.

UPDATED REVIEW, about a year after: Doesn't matter it's a smaller store because the people that work here esp Wanda are awesome. They are great every single time I go in. I love this Sallies! Highly recommend.

I hope one day soon they start accepting debit cards.

UPDATE OCTOBER 2020: Unfortunately something happened to the building's structure unrelated to the corona and this location hasn't reopened after the quarantine. I really miss this store so much and am really hoping they put the work in to needed repairs or get another location in Shamokin and get it reopened ASAP. Wanda is such a pleasant person to deal with and I hope she's doing well despite not having a job to go back to here. Shamokin really needs quality thrift stores and this was really it and it definitely hurts the town to not have a presence here anymore. Please, guys, get a location in Shamokin up and running again.
