I am towards the end of the esthetics program at LTI and this has been the WORST experience of my entire life. (DISCLAIMER! I HAVE ONLY EXPERIENCED THE ESTHETICS PROGRAM) The staff are extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. They act as if they are in a high school clique. You will learn just as much as you would looking things up on Wikipedia or YouTube. You will have to purchase a $300-$400 Laptop that only works for a week before it crashes. AND YOU DONT GET YOUR MONEY BACK. You have 8 hour days but you only spend 3 of them actually doing work. The remainder of the time you will sit there doing absolutely NOTHING. If a teacher does not like you, they will ignore your existence and exclude you. They play with your hours and your money. Basically this program looks as if someone just threw it together in 2 days. Multiple people have lawsuits out for LTI and I don’t see them staying in business for much longer. If you consider going to LTI for the esthetics program, GOOD LUCK I WILL...
Read moreIf i could give this school 0 stars i would. Now I can only speak for the cardiovascular tech program. But it is a total joke. The teachers are extremely rude & not helpful. Specifically in the cardio class, she expects students to be on her level of profession when we were literally in 2nd semester. I never felt comfortable asking questions because i never knew if Meeds was gonna be in a good or bad mood. There were many times in FIRST SEMESTER that i heard "come on guys you should know this" when asking a question. Absolutely ridiculous. I would not trust any student from LTI sharon to scan my heart after being in a class like that. That school does nothing but robb you of your time & money. Even after half of the class complaining/having meetings with hire ups, nothing is done about that god awful staff. Even clinical sites had nothing but bad things to say about this school & staff– once again soecifically the...
Read moreMy son graduated from the welding program in September 2018. The instructors were good. Where this institute falls way short is there help with job placement. My son has yet to even here from anyone in the job placement department. His emails are not even returned. When we first visited this institute they bragged about their high placement rates. Maybe with other fields of study that might be true but not with welding. Once they have your money, nobody seems to give the student another thought. So if you or your child thinks about going to LTI for welding, don’t believe a word they tell you about job placement because it’s all lies. They want your $19000. They won’t help you at all with...
