Franklin General Store — Local services in Shawnee

I'm rating 5 because four is too low and you can't rate a half star for some reason!

They had a bunch of really interesting and cool products, the worker/owner? (Unsure if they we're the owner, but it seems likely) Seemed to be really nice, everything looked really clean, and the majority of the stuff seemed to be priced fairly reasonably when you take into account that it's all local and high quality, I'll be coming back!

I wish there was more information in store about certain things, like pasteurization practices, and it'd be nice to know if the white sage was ethically sourced at a glance, since they are all made locally it can be difficult to find information like that on google and your taking up time to ask about every single product and thats wasting time of people around you aswell, it's a small nit-pick, but something simple like a qr code on the shelf to take you to any available information online, or a sticker or something would be nice!

I’m so excited this is in the neighborhood. A very nicely curated selection. Everything is made locally and with clean ingredients. Fresh pasta, homemade butter, local meats, fresh eggs, produce, kombucha on tap, so many goodies. Notably, they carry the KawMix chicken feed from Valley Feed Store so we get to save 45 minutes of driving there and back for it. 😃 Hope people will consider checking it out and supporting local.
