I don’t even know where to begin because honestly, I’m still riding the high of what might be one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in years. Let me start by saying this: if you haven’t been to Mother Cluckers, you’re doing yourself a disservice. But even more than that—if you’re lucky enough to have Brogan as your server? You’re in for something truly unforgettable.
🐔 First Impressions
From the second we walked in, the vibe was impeccable. The atmosphere at Mother Cluckers strikes that perfect balance of casual fun and comfort, but still feels like a place that takes food and service seriously. Rustic but polished décor, great music (not too loud), clean and spacious layout, and a lively, happy crowd without being chaotic. You could tell people were genuinely enjoying themselves.
We were greeted quickly and seated within minutes, and that’s when we met Brogan—the absolute star of the evening.
🙌 The Service – Brogan, You Legend
There are servers who just do their job, and then there are servers who elevate the entire experience. Brogan is the latter, and then some. From the get-go, Brogan was personable, professional, knowledgeable, and downright hilarious in the best way possible. He had this effortless charm about him—friendly without being overbearing, funny without trying too hard, and attentive without hovering.
Here’s a few things Brogan did that seriously stood out: • Knew the menu inside and out: When we had questions about spice levels, portion sizes, or what to pair drinks with, he answered instantly and even gave personal recommendations that ended up being perfect. You could tell he had actually tried the food himself and wasn’t just repeating memorized descriptions. • Timing was on point: We never felt rushed, but we also never felt like we were waiting too long for anything. Brogan had this sixth sense for when we needed refills, extra napkins (you’ll need them here, trust me), or just a quick check-in to make sure everything was great. • Genuine connection: He wasn’t just there to get tips—Brogan cared. He remembered our names, cracked jokes that were actually funny, and made sure my friend’s food allergies were taken seriously. It didn’t feel like “customer service,” it felt like hospitality. Like we were guests in someone’s home who wanted us to have the best time possible. • Went above and beyond: When our dessert came a little later than expected (which we honestly didn’t even mind), Brogan comped it without us asking. He just said, “Hey, I want to make sure everything tonight feels perfect for you.” That gesture, while small, said everything about his integrity and pride in his work.
🍗 The Food – Come Hungry or Regret It Later
I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how unbelievably good the food was. Mother Cluckers doesn’t just live up to the hype—it redefines it. From the first bite to the last, it was flavor, texture, spice, and balance all working together like a symphony of...
Read moreUpdate 8/5/23. I just can’t get enough of this place. This time as I was walking in I heard a chipper worker bringing food to a car, the ladies I encountered and witnessed were also very great and asking how things were, helped with order for those not wanting to use the kiosk. Brought my oldest son and he enjoyed his sandwich as much as I enjoyed my clicker fries. Lol those are great if y’all haven’t had them before TRY THEM!! Thank You for the great service.
I found this place searching for fried chicken. I stopped in with my son on the 1st trip. He got the kids wings I got the nacho fries. It was delicious!! I was craving it again so I went back for a second time. The second time was ehh. The wings you could tell was cooked in old oil. ( my order was at 1pm) wings were not that great. And the cluck fries just don’t travel well, that’s my fault for ordering to go. But the customer service while not rude was just bleh. Both times 1st & 2nd time I tried talking to the people and they had no care, no smile, no interaction nothing. I don’t expect over the top enthusiasm but gosh if a customer says oh man I’ve been craving this since last time maybe have a reaction. 🙅🏽♀️ again while not rude maybe look at the customer not over them or around them, respond to their comments because believe it or not customer service...
Read moreI liked the menu and food , but I have mixed feelings about the atmosphere. I'll start by saying I had a solo tender meal in the 'kickin' it up' spice level. I like that they had several choices of spiciness to choose from. My daughter ordered an Oreo shake and she loved it. Now I'll walk you through my experience... I have a pickup truck and the parking lot was small, I had to back up to align with the space since it was such a tight turn. We walked into this newer location and found two self order stations, one was not working. We order at the counter, get our number, and find a table. The inside dining space is very small so seats are limited. We got the last table available and found that the top was so loose and wobbly that you could spill your drink by putting your arm on the table. This was the second inoperable thing I had encountered in this 'master bathroom' sized space so it made me wonder about its management. We ate our food and I have to say we liked the chicken and absolutely loved the french fries. They also have a good sized patio area outside with shade so I recommend eating there to avoid claustrophobia. So overall the parking is small, the dining area is crowded and a little neglected, but the food was good and the staff was friendly. If you like spicy variety, I would recommend...
