This is a 5 star review of Transport Brewery only, not the taco place. The beer here is pretty decent (I had the brown ale and a pale ale) and the atmosphere seems really laid back. Parking is plentiful and its easy to get in/out. They dont serve food, but they allow the next door taco place to bring food in. You can even order at the bar. Only problem...The tacos are just Okay, we ordered all 6 of the street tacos. Steak Asada was the best, the rest were nothing impressive. We also got the guac and queso dips, both were terrible. The guac was premade to the point it had gone rancid. It was not edible. Assuming it had been in the fridge for a day or so too the point it had gone brown. If they are going to do guac, they should make it fresh, Its not that hard. The queso was edible, but not good. I would go here for the beer, maybe get a taco if I was starving but stay away from the dip. Chips were decent, good dipping chips. I think they would be better served by having a food truck schedule or just bringing in a pizza or something would...
Read moreI really liked the space. They have about 6 of their own beers on tap and a few other guest taps. Most of the beers were on the lighter side. I had a Belgian single and their Grissette. Both were ok, but not memorable. They also had a cider and a few other I can't recall. Would try again in the future to see what they come up with. I think they will have to step it up with 3 other breweries opening on Johnson drive in the future.
Not sure where to rate food trucks, but Cajunation was there and it was very bland, below average food. Would give 1 star. We had red beans and rice and Jambalaya. We were hungry and did not finish any of it. I would suggest removing them from your...
Read moreFinally got to try Transport and really enjoyed it! I pass by it often and it typically seems to have a good crowd inside. I like the seating arrangement inside and with the weather being nice they had the window open which made it all the better.
The bartender seemed excited to tell me what beers they had to offer and told me about their Mug Club which seems like a great deal. They're pretty IPA heavy currently these days it being springtime. I'm not much of an IPA guy myself but I was still in luck as their Prost! kolsch and Lake Quivira Light lager are delicious. I believe they have special deals on Thursdays and Sundays as well that you'll have to ask about. Transport is...
