My wife and I are done with this place.
We always believe in giving restaurants a 2nd, or 3rd, or even 4th chance over time, especially places with high turnover rates - it only takes one bad employee to ruin it for everyone across a shift. But after 4 visits over the last year, we can't take anymore of this location.
The customer service, inside or drive-thru, is at best dismissive and at worst, simply non-existent. Today, for lunch, I ordered for pickup, got inside and a couple other people were waiting near the registers. 8, maybe 10 minutes, and the women in the kitchen running their mouths and laughing not once came to the registers, not a single wave or not. Eventually one did bring a couple bagged orders, called out a number to someone waiting inside, and went straight back to the kitchen area without so much as a hint of eye-contact to the rest of us waiting by the registers.
When the guest picked their bag and left, I noticed another bag sitting there - checking its receipt, it was our order. No callout or anything. So I grabbed it and left, with a word of commiseration to the elderly could that had been standing there since I walked in!
Got home (just a few blocks away) and it was lukewarm, none of the half-dozen various items we ordered were labeled, and despite the website reminding me to not forget the hot sauce - which I added - there wasn't a single sauce packet in the bag.
This is typical of our visits here, at the drive-thru or indoors. Always feeling disappointed and not at all appreciated as customers. And let's face it - it's Taco Bell, the food is not worth the insult. So, after several "give 'em another chance" tries, we are absolutely finished with the place.
If the owners of this location might ever read this, you seriously need to clean house, wipe the employee and management base clean and start over with a fresh crew. Ensure they realize that, yeah, might not like their minimum wage-ish jobs, but those jobs exist because of us - the customers. And I think most people will agree that, as customers, we don't expect to be fawned over and we don't need fake cheerfulness, but we expect at least to be acknowledged as human beings. A little courtesy and consideration towards those of us paying the employees' wages and helping them provide for their families is NOT too...
Read moreI entered the restaurant right after another couple. We stood at the counter afew minutes while we were ignored by all employees. Realizing they wanted us to place our own orders on the pads we were standing by. I started doing so. I probably ought to mention I hate using the pads. The other couple started using the other one. Wasn't too long they just left the restaurant. Should of left with them! My food did arrive rather quickly. I started to walk off when I realized I didn't get my drink glass. Too late, the person that brought my food was already gone. Stood there again a couple of minutes trying to get someone's attention...no body was going to look at the counter. I could see the cups on the other side of the counter, I went around and got my own. Went to the drink dispenser...no ice. Back to the counter, guess what, they got that ignoring customers down to a science. It probably wasn't as long as it seemed before I in a rather loud voice said "excuse me I would like some ice there is none in your machine out here". A young man promptly got me some ice. I got my drink which was flat, absolutely no fome when I filled my cup. Tasted like your drink had been setting a couple of hours. As for the food, it was good. That's why I was at Taco Bell, I like their food. But while I was eating, I watched as young man probably 8 - 9 years old stood at the counter with a cup, probably a minute or two, and then left without being...
Read moreTaco Bell is Taco Bell! The only difference is location, management, and employees. Generally don't have issues. This location evidently has management and employee issues. We tried a week before this visit through the drive-through on a weekend evening. We weren't addressed, silence. When we said we were ready to order, the slow response was "Yeah." We ended up just pulling through, as nobody else was ahead of us. We pulled around to park and go inside. The lobby sign was closed and door was locked, 20 minutes before the posted time, so we just left. A week later, we came here again for a late taco lunch. Parked and went inside. Not busy, 1 person ahead of us waiting to receive his order to go. He stood at the counter and asked to the back (no employee at counter) "Is there a manager here?" The response was, "I'm a shift manager, there's another shift manager and store manager here." The customer pointed out to the shift manager, that an employee who was preparing food (with gloves on) had taken a bite of something then threw it in the trash. Customer made it a point to say he saw it, and that he was disgusted, got his order and left. We went ahead and ordered, I didn't have cause for concern- for I hadn't witnessed anything. Our food was prepared quick as ordered and didn't have any issues. I just hope this location works out their employee issues, it's a great location and I'm sure has a LOT...
