DON'T EXPECT CONVIENT DELIVERY OR SERVICE SCHEUDELING...... On the positive, 5 star side was the actual sales process in the Sheboygan, WI store. We were not pressured to meet with a sales person and were not approached continuously while we browsed, which I LOVE. The salesperson, Jason, was tremendous and listened to exactly what I was looking for and was able to find what I needed. Sale when seamlessly. It took 7 months to arrive and Jason called and left me a message every month with an update on the status of the order.... phenomenal effort on the sales staff......
Where my complaint lies in the in the delivery process.... very limited times are offered and when I asked for different days, was told that they only come "out to my area" on very specific days (mind you "my area" is less mileage from their distribution center then it is to arrive at their own local store!). I complied and took a day off of work just to be able to accommodate the delivery schedule (which I paid for). Deliver reps did show up on time and were great about covering floors and installing my full room of furniture.... I noted as they were picking up that one of the pieces was damaged. I was told they do not take them back and that I would need to call the store. I did and was able to set up a "service" call... which entailed only text message contact and sending pictures.... after waiting 4 weeks I was told my repair was ready.... no discussion on what the repair was, if it was a part, entire piece or how the repair process would occur. Again only alerted by text message. I called to schedule this repair and had EVEN FEWER options. No AM or PM options just "full day" windows.... which I was told by the very curt phone rep that I would just simply have to take my chances if they would show up in the morning or afternoon and if they called and it did not work, I would have to reschedule.... so again, if I want my repair done with somewhat of a sense of coordinated effort I AGAIN have to take ANOTHER DAY OFF OF WORK just to accommodate their scheduling (or shall I say lack of coordinated effort of scheduling on their side). I was also told that I could pick up the repair part at their distribution center if I would rather... like I know how to repair a piece of furniture that should have never been delivered to me damaged in the first place... that should have been caught by their team.
So buyer beware..... if delivery is what you are after... make sure you have vacation time left from work because not only does do you have to pay for the delivery, you have to loose more money taking off of work to sit all day and wait for them to show up.

TJ was personable, enthusiastic, upbeat, professional, timely with requests, true to his word, knowledgeable about products, organized and efficient. He LISTENS which is a crucial part of sales and customer service. PEOPLE make all the difference in organizations. Being a professional salesperson/sales manager my entire life, I especially notice and appreciate his valuable expertise.
The store is clean, organized and well-laid out with room vignettes. The restrooms are convenient and clean. Appropriate amount of personnel is on hand to assist with your needs and all were friendly and professional.
We visited four stores to find an heirloom quality, U.S. Amish-made dining room set traveling from Milwaukee to Plymouth to Sheboygan. TJ & WG&R provided a variety of brands and options and helped us vet to meet our criteria and specific needs.
We chose Daniel’s Amish brand. This company furnishes the store with an excellent display showing their capabilities/craftmanship and custom options (wood, stain/paint, legs, edge, shape, hardware) which really helps quickly dial in on exactly what you want (you can actually see what you are ordering, not just pictures). It was the most impressive display piece of the many stores we visited. We were able to check out not small chipboard samples of stain, but impressive, large 12 x 12” specific hard wood with stain (clearly labeled) that allow you to see what options look like in your room.
TJ and WG&R management helped us get a good value as well.

Read moreIt was hard for me to even give this location 2 stars, mostly because the associates came off as very money hungry. As my husband and I were talking to one - another associate thought he was "whispering" but was bragging about a large sale he just made. I get celebrating wins, but maybe not in front of customers. After a second trip to this location, we were essentially followed by an associate as we were just checking out some items - and she questioned if we needed help way too many times.
I just didn't feel the customer service was genuine - felt more like they just wanted the sale and move along to the next customer in line.
I had called to get a status update on our furniture and after the phone rang a million times, a gentleman finally answered. He seemed like he was too busy to even address my concerns, and said "I'll give you a call back". Never received the call back.
Since part of our couch was custom made so it would fit through our doorways, we were given a 9 week turn time. At about 6 weeks, I reached out just to see where things were at. After leaving a message, I quickly got a response that "oh it is ready now". Makes me wonder how long it had been ready and if I actually reminded them to give me a call.
Our couch is fine - a little squeaky and I question some of the construction - but since it's covered and some of the weird bent in spots are hidden, I decided to avoid the hassle and not return / argue about anything.
