Boswell's Books — Local services in Shelburne

Boswell’s Books was a lovely little find, tucked away in this cute little village of Shelburne. Boswell the cat came out to greet me and allowed me to pet him and was very welcoming! The book selection was great for the amount of space they have. There was a selection of all different genres of reading. I’m certain anyone could find at least something to read in there. And the service was great. We enjoyed talking with the staff and just visiting this cute...

Boswell was sleeping in a box behind the counter. So, so adorable (no I didn't wake her up, as much as I'd have loved to say hi and pet her.) Oh, there were wonderful books and gifts here too, and the shopkeeper was very kind and sweet. It wasn't my first visit and certainly wouldn't be my last. Boswell's is a treasure in Shelburne Falls.

Boswell is the store's mascot kitty which drew us in, but we quickly realized this place was a gem. Something about it makes you want to stay till closing and visit daily. The charming and knowledgeable sales lady (unsure if she was owner or employee) turned us on to so many books and ideas it was hard to leave. Plus, the prices are great. Tho we live out of state, we plan to buy all books from her...
