I bought about 75.00 worth of hair products from this business. The majority of the price came from Polynesian hair extensions (2 packs). The Asian man seemed knowledgeable and I thought it was a positive experience. One of the items I purchased was Creme of Nature no base relaxer (Regular). It was not the new packaging which is orange, but the older yellow jar. I'm a cosmetology school dropout. When I realized I was more interested in the chemical make-up of relaxers, hair etc. I decided to go back to college and major in Chemistry. I said that to say this; I'm not the average at home hair stylist. I understand the chemical process of hair straightening. I did notice the consistency of the relaxer was unusually stiff but I ignored it. The relaxer did not take. I was so happy my hair didn't fall out, as I've seen the after math of bad relaxers...When the chemicals become unstable it can cause hair loss to the point of baldness. I've witnessed the devastating hair loss of a bad relaxer on a close family member; she had bald patches. I went back to the store and explained what happened. The owner (asian male) immediately stated he wasn't responsible because the product was used. I wasn't particularly interested in the 5 dollar product, but I was not pleased with his attitude. I spent over $70 as was evidenced by the receipt I presented as proof. I explained the dangers of carrying hair chemicals that were obviously defective and recommended he contact his vendor and/or research the serial number for the product. He continued to deny responsibility and showed a general lack of concern. Well 3 weeks later my hair is definitely showing signs of chemical trauma. My natural hair (appx. 14 inches long) has started to break off unevenly and is dry and brittle. I'll address that, but I wanted to warn women to beware of purchasing their chemical products. I know women like to take great care of their tresses and I wanted to give an...

When I asked a few questions about the wig the gentleman replied “you buy wigs you don’t play” he said this because I asked if I could try on one before purchasing. After he said this I left and went over to dollar beauty where I found a wig within 10 mins. Doubt I will return to this location do the lack of...
