The lady that might be 30 but looks like she’s pushing 60 has a worse attitude than most or all of the toddlers I’ve ever met. The white onions come in bags but had a by the pound price of $1.10 so I grabbed a loose one figuring they can put it one the scale at the register and charge me the 50¢ or so that it would be. Instead she grabbed it and held it up saying “Sorry you can only buy these in their bags.” I protested with “I saw loose ones and they have a price by weight, can’t you just weigh it and charge me for that?” “No you can only by the bags.” She then walks to the onions, grabs the lose one and the bag they came from, walked back and THREW them onto the counter behind her. After this lovely exchange she scans my first couple items and says, oh so nicely, “I need your cart.” And when I roll it towards her she yanks it against her counter, sliding the already scanned items off the counter to fall into my cart, and does the same with the rest of my items. I’ll give her credit though, she did ever so slightly assist the bread on its way down so she’s not a full miscellaneous market monster just an agitated aldi associate. Read moreFriendly, & helpful staff of employee's! I have notice since the remodeling of store's, there's been an increase in price, & less amount of product. Aldi has always had a good selection of organic products, but with the remodel, it seem's like a re-branding to bring in well to do hipsters. I know the recession is deciding factor in prices but the prices had increased with the remodeled store's, & re-branding, not the actual economy.. Aldi's used to be about affordable quality, offering variety, keeping cost down, & passing the lower cost to it customers, that doesn't seem like the case anymore, you might as well go to the Kroger's, Walmart, or Whole Food store's with the climbing prices of Aldi's.. Apparently Aldi has forgotten what has built their brand, & will continue to loose customer base with the crazy price...
