A few of the staff were short and abrupt when communicating. Just from the naked eye bedding was stained with hair all over bed upon check in. Our $200 deposit was kept because of a spill caused by tube feeding. When asking the owner, why we were being charged so much… he lied and said there was more damaged linen then there actually was!! I WILL SAY…. the only plus was the hotel itself was close to the highway and had a continental breakfast.
When we first got there at 4pm we called for help because they were away from the Front desk ( not a problem in itself) first time when they picked up, they hung up as we were talking, So we had to call back. We ended up waiting about 7 minutes for help.
When we got into the room, there was hair all over the bedding and a yellowish stain on top of the fitted sheet ( we decided just to just clean it up the best we could and lay a towel down)
In the middle of the night my sister’s tube feeding had leaked and got on the bedding and a towel. When I called down to the front desk, I had explained that Something had spilt, asked for a change of sheets and offered to change them.
When we left in the morning, we had done the usual…. Picked up all trash & placed together in designated trash bags. We also put the bedding in a pile ( all to make it easier on the housekeeper) THEN even left a tip!
The hotel kept our $200 deposit. We understand and were Willing to pay for the actual items that were stained…. BUT The person we talked to on the phone (said he was the owner) tried saying that we ruined both complete bed sets and four towels. Which is not true at all, as the spill was contained to one small area of ONE bed. He didn’t even mention the other bed set until we had asked for an itemized List of the...

Read moreTwo stars due to my bed having a few yellow marks on the blanket. It made me feel like I needed to inspect my entire bed, which, let's face it, made me doubt the cleanliness of the entire room. My breaker in the room had to be flipped in order for the heat to work and the bathroom walls were dirty with black and dark grey marks. I suppose it's been a while since walls were wiped. No elevator. Phone line in room 216 is horrible. But who uses landlines? Me, when I call to announce the heat doesn't work. It wasn't allowing me to be audible which led me getting hung up on three times. But front desk was attending to a guest, maybe that's why guest services didn't call me back. I paid $50 so I guess I got what I paid for. But as a paying customer, hospitality management should be inspecting the rooms better. They do have friendly front desk people and the room smelled clean. If you don't mind cleaning what should be already cleaned, and inspecting beds, then stay here. I stayed March 2018. July 2019, room 104, came here with kids. My dbl bed sheet had a burn mark on my sheet, kind of odd bc I just signed a paper saying there was no smoking in room. After my sheet was replaced by a fresh sheet, the check in lady even made my new bed with said sheet so that was nice. But even though it looked really clean, the last towel, which I had to use... had a skid mark appearance 🤦 so disgusting. So even after a year housekeeping is still lacking. Did have 2 stars but this was the final straw. Like what if one of my kids used that towel?? So gross. They had a gym also but the treadmill was out of order and was so hot inside the room it was a heatwave just...
