Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Sheridan Township

I love everything Tractor Supply Company has to offer, it is right up my alley. I will not be giving five stars due to the care of chicks during Chick Days. Their set up is just fine, but they hire people who know little to nothing about chickens and do not teach them. Besides that, they do not value the life of each individual animal as they are "just chickens" and only worth a few dollars at best. I get that taking extra time to make sure they are well tended to costs more, but these are lives you are dealing with. Even food animals should be honored. Many chick issues are easy to tend to if you get to it right away. Instead, many folk take on the burden of 'rescuing' chicks from the store. I've done this and I know of so many else who have. My favorite bird was one of these rescues. If I did not buy the chick, they would not have survived the night.

I like this store. But the service leaves a lot to be desired sometimes. I spent 40 minutes there today to complete a simple layaway transaction and get the product loaded on my trailer.
