They didn't have the option for 0 stars for my experience at Tenners in Sherman Tx. I bought a shirt for my husband their a couple of weeks ago and he wasn't with me and I was buying him a gift. I bought him the size he normally wears not thinking about some brands run larger than others. My husband took the tags off and went to put it on to go to church and realized it was too big for him so we took it back the following week to exchange it for a smaller size. We had the tags and the receipt in the bag with the shirt. They told me they were not allowed to exchange anything without the tags attached. So I asked to talk to the manager about it and he was very rude with me and told me they could and would not exchange it because the tags were not still attached to it. I told him I am not asking for my money back I just want a smaller size and that Ivwas going to buy another shirt for my son. And if has bought shirts at a western shop they are not cheap but I don't mind paying that price for good quality clothes because I know they will last and pay for their self. Well they didn't exchange it and I didn't get my money back. The manager was about 5'6 and he was about 280lbs and was about in his 60's with gray hair. I have never been treated like that in that store and I have shopped their for years. I have returned items in the past with no problems. That is just ridiculous just because the tags were not attached and never worn. I will not be shopping their and spending my hard earned money their again. I went down the road to boot barn and bought 2 new shirts. If you want my advise don't buy your clothes from Tenners in Sherman Tx if they are not going to value their customers business. Their are other stores in the area that would be glad to have your business and will treat you like you should be treated...
Read moreI don't usually shop here. I've had better experiences here in the past when I've bought a couple of pairs of shoes and a pair of boots. Let's start there. I was given a gift certificate and ventured in earlier this week. One meek hello at the door was it. I wandered around the store for a half hour or more and zero interaction with employees. You kind of learn to expect that these days. Found a pair of boots by Twisted X and some random sweatshirt and checked out. Got home and the XL sweatshirt was tight as a Tshirt. No biggie, I'll go back and exchange it for a larger size. Wore the boots for 1 day and they were extremely uncomfortable, rubbed a blister on the back of my foot so I'm 0 for 2 here. Took them back this morning and the minute I mentioned needed to exchange the shirt and return the boots, here come the frowns. Browsed and found that they didn't have the sweatshirt in the size I needed so I went back to the register and was told that I couldn't return the boots because they weren't in mint condition.... Ummm, what? I wore them less than a day, if you need them in mint condition, wipe them off and put 'em back on the shelf or send them back to the manufacturer. If you have a zero return policy, post it. This place sure makes me appreciate The Buckle, where I normally shop. I'll be messaging Twisted X as well. On the plus side, narrowed down where not to do...
Read moreWent there last month to get some boots & immediately upon entering a young brunette employee maybe 20 years old approached us before we could even get to where the counter is and started hounding us about the cheaper boots. We told her money isn’t an issue for us at all, we just wanted to get something that was sturdy and would last… aka NOT anything cheaply made. She wouldn’t just let us shop around, she kept pushing cheap boots on us and kept saying, “can you afford this?” The boot she tried pushing was $150. Like get real.. yes we can afford that. I could’ve bought everything in that dang store. This went on for probably 30-45 minutes until finally I had enough and told my husband I would rather spend our money elsewhere. We ended up going to boot barn down the road and spent $700 there instead where we were treated with respect and not like we were dirt poor just because I was dressed comfortable for running errands that day and my husband was in his work clothes. Never in my life have I ever been treated like that and I will never go there again based on that...
