Went to Texas Tobacco to learn more about the CBS and it's benefits, also to know more about the percentage rates on dispensation. When entering there was a 20something little girl and a middle-aged man that you could tell English was NOT his primary language. There were several customers there so when he pointed to get and said "help them" pointing to us she gladly and honestly said she did NOT know anything about the product. Well at mine and my husband's age we really don't have time to play kid games so at that point all she could do is show us what they had and the prices. Finally we were the only customers. She went to the man and asked if he would help us. As a kid my parents owned and operated their own business and naturally I watched and learned as much as possible. At almost 50 years of age I like to think I know a little bit about customer service and some about day to day business . #1. Know as much as possible about the product you sell. #2. ALWAYS have specs and product information to back up what you tell the customers about the product you are selling. NO ONE (let me repeat) NO ONE had any kind of information on the product I was thinking of buying. WARNING ! THIS IS VERY BAD FOR BUSINESS !!! How can a business be successful and have good revenue if "they" don't know anything about the product they are selling...??? So unless I am buying a carton of cigarettes or juice for my vaporizer and don't want any kind of information then this is "the place" to go. Otherwise if you would like to buy these kinds of products, while also getting as much information as you can about said product, then PLEASE do NOT go here. Because they will just tell what they told me......Google it !!! Thank God my precious Daddy is in heaven cause if he knew that this way of running a business is acceptable by customers today.....well my Daddy would be rolling over in his grave MAD !!! It is so very sad that Texas Tobacco is run this way and it makes one wonder if the owners know this information about their precious business. I hope and pray the owners do know this now that I have posted this review also I hope that in the future that when they get new products to sell that EVERYONE that works for them is trained and...
Read moreUpdated parking and good lighting make this a safe place to stop in the evening. Cigars are terribly kept, seem to cater to flavored fans. I don't think the quality is great, but the turnover is probably just not high enough to keep fresh stock. The lighter and diy supply selection is good. Love to browse the novelty lighters I'm a huge fan of gadgets and they stick both useful and fun things. There's a steady flow of vaping customers. I don't vape so I can't say whether their juices are good or bad, but there seems to be a lot of different parts and units to choose from. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Loose tobacco sold here. Low stars because of cigars, crispy dry death, but as far as everything else this place offers good inventory and lots of variety in a clean and organized set up. If they focused just on the flavored and the vacuum sealed tube market I think their quality would go up on the cigars, it's what seems...
Read moreThis review is really for all 3 stores but especially the one in Denison on main. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the stores. The redo in Sherman is gorgeous. Huge variety, nice clean stores and the best prices in town plus the rewards program actually has rewards! The staff is very nice. Never met one I didn't love talking to. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because the employees are not wearing masks and there is no longer a sign on the door saying masks are required. I asked the new girl in denison about it and see flipped her hand at me and said "I have anxiety". First that wasn't professional. But I have anxiety and COPD and I can wear the mask. I get this is tough but I would think customer satisfaction should be equal to...
