Staples — Local services in Shorewood

Do Not go here for TSA pre-check. First off call before you go even with your appointment. I went and was told no one was there even with my confirmed appointment. Okay, things happen. But today was just awful! There was an older gentleman running the pre-check. He was so extremely rude for no reason. I waited an hour with only 2 people in front of me. Once it was my turn he looked at me and said rudely "You are the one without an appointment!" Nope! I had an appointment and pointed to my name on the list. (He thought I was a lady who btw did have an appointment, but since it wasn't on his sheet turned her away. Besides both of us being women we looked nothing alike). Never once said "sorry". He could not figure out how to scan the documents and take the photos. I just hope he did it correctly, since I did pay the $78. He restarted my input 3 times. I came in to buy a desk ended up going to office max way cheaper and better service. When I walked in to staples no one offered help I had to go directly to find someone I mentioned to the girl cashier I want to buy a desk and the cashier replied which desk and I said well come with me I will show you she said take a picture and bring it back complete laziness so of course I did came back to the cashier showed her the picture on my phone and she said yes we have it in stock . I wanted to measure the box to see if it will fit in my car I asked can you bring the desk out so I can measure she answered just go measure the desk and that’s how exactly the box will be. Suspecting it might be a radio ad gimmick, I researched (and printed for evidence) Amazon pricing on a couple business office supplies, then went the same day to Staples in Shorewood, Illinois to purchase. Not only did the store manager refute the matching by clarifying a host of exclusions (which was not noted in the marketing), but even disrespectfully doubted what I printed (going so far as to login online right in front of me to "verify", despite the print-out showing today's date in the footer).
