The Corner at Short Pump - Shopping Center — Local services in Short Pump

Having never been to that end of Richmond before, I was very unsure of my surroundings. I asked my GPS for a local gas station. It told me Kroger fuel. I got onto Broad Street okay but completely missed the very small sign for the Kroger, on my left, amongst late afternoon traffic. I drove on ahead trying to turn around; wound up out of my way at Strange's Florist. Checked my GPS in the parking lot and tried again. It was on my right this time and I almost missed it again! Something needs to be done to make that Kroger sign bigger. There is too much traffic on Broad Street at 430pm to be jumping from lane to lane and trying to get turned around amongst traffic that knows where it's going.

Other than having a hard time finding the place, the station itself was fine. Well lit and plenty of room. There is a lot of traffic in this part of Richmond, on a regular day and time. If you are from out of town, just take your time....

Been shopping here for a long time, but here lately they seem to not stock certain things that I buy. They use to but no more. For instance, Peter Pan peanut butter, lettuce and Tyson Regular Chicken Strips. It seems there always out of stock. It seems like they never have enough baggers, so then the cashier has to bag the groceries and that slows down everything to a halt. The people that are pulling groceries for those on line orders park those big carts in the middle of the isles where you can't get around them. I like Kroger and will continue to shop there but am considering changing location. When there was a manager there called Shane, everything was great. But he must have left because I haven't seen him lately and since I haven't seen him the service and stock seems to have gone down hill. Too bad was...

This Kroger location has totally gone downhill..unhappy appearing staff, filthy entrance and cart area, personal shoppers rude and pushy, minimal lines open forcing you to use self checkout---which every time I use there is always an issue forcing you to wait even longer-I refuse to use self checkout anymore! PLEASE BRING BACK REAL PEOPLE AND SERVICE AT CHECK OUT!.. other establishments in this shopping center are all closing down, it just seems...
