ANOKHA Cuisine of India offers a remarkable dining experience that brings the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine to life in an elegant and inviting atmosphere. From the moment you step inside, the warm and friendly staff make you feel right at home. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality set the stage for a memorable meal, making it evident that customer satisfaction is their top priority.

The ambiance at ANOKHA is a perfect blend of contemporary chic and traditional Indian decor, creating a comfortable yet sophisticated environment. Whether you're dining with family, friends, or on a romantic evening out, the setting enhances the overall experience.

The menu at ANOKHA is a testament to the rich culinary traditions of India, offering a diverse array of dishes that cater to all palates. Each dish is meticulously prepared, showcasing the freshest ingredients and a masterful blend of spices. Highlights include the Chicken Tikka Masala, which is perfectly cooked with a creamy, tangy sauce that bursts with flavor, and the Lamb Rogan Josh, featuring tender pieces of lamb in a fragrant, aromatic gravy.

Vegetarian options are equally impressive, with dishes like the Paneer Makhani, where soft, succulent cubes of paneer are bathed in a luscious tomato and butter sauce, and the Aloo Gobi, a delightful combination of potatoes and cauliflower cooked with spices that deliver a wonderful depth of flavor.

The naan bread, fresh out of the tandoor, is a must-try, especially the garlic naan, which complements the rich gravies beautifully. For dessert, the Gulab Jamun, soft, sweet milk solids soaked in syrup, offers a perfect end to the meal.

Service at ANOKHA is impeccable, with staff members who are not only knowledgeable about the menu but also genuinely enthusiastic about providing a top-notch dining experience. Their recommendations are always spot-on, ensuring that you enjoy the best that ANOKHA...

My husband and I have dined in at least 20 times now and have taken out several times too. The place is always very clean and is beautifully decorated. The service is upscale but the price is very affordable. We tend to always order the same thing, but when it is so amazingly delicious, why deviate? Our favorite dishes are chicken tikka masala and lamb patia. We always order mango lassi and sometimes we order the shrimp appetizer. The naan is excellent almost always.

You must know that we always order mild. Neither of us like anything spicy. I love that this is an option. This is probably why we frequent this Indian restaurant more than others. Spiciness is definitely a signature of Indian cuisine. However, we love the flavors but can’t stand the heat. Other restaurants may have great flavors but the spiciness, even for something like butter chicken that is usually safe, can vary widely. When we order mild, occasionally there is a slight spiciness , but I’ve never had to send anything back.

When we go for lunch during the week, there is usually a soup or salad option to accompany the meal as well as a different dessert each day. Dinner is a little bit different and we like going for lunch. Our favorite options, when they are available, are the coconut curry soup and the coconut mousse dessert. I like the coconut mousse so much, that the whole staff knows it and they have set some aside for us a few times, since we are regulars now. In the last year that we’ve been frequenting Anokha, the waitstaff hasn’t changed at all I think. They are very personable, attentive and most importantly, they seem to love what they do. There is a pride in their presentation and their...

I am horrified to share my experience on 2nd June' 2019 at the restaurant. We went there to have some chicken items. We reached there at 9.20 pm. Tried placing the order at 9.23 pm for Chicken platter. The server outrighltly rejected the order saying it would take half an hour to prepare the dish and the restaurant will close by then. I requested (since we have come here 2-3 times in the past and know the server well) to get whatever chicken item was available to serve. The server was however adamant so much so that he didn't even bother to check in the kitchen once to see what could be served. We told him that we specifically came to eat chicken and if the restaurant is closed, we will just parcel it and take home. He was least bothered to even suggest any options. I don't see a reason why a restaurant would refuse to take an order at 9.23 pm when the closing time is 10.00 pm and the time to prepare a dish is half an hour and proposal was put at the table to box the order. Sheer unprofessionalism and am going to write this review in all forum possible. Was with my family and this kind of service was an act of shame on restaurant's behalf.

Also, just noticed that the owner only responds to good comments. Least bothered to respond or touch base to people who have given average to...

I highly recommend going for the lunch special. I spent $16 (before tip) for SO much food. Had no wait for a table when I arrived, and I highly enjoyed the dimmer lighting and calm atmosphere. I ordered the chicken tikka masala which comes with a pot of rice, 4 pieces of naan and dipping sauce. The naan was a little oily, but I do prefer the traditional method without oil. You also get a soup or salad before hand, I got the salad but felt thrown together with random veggies, not my favorite. Everything else was delicious, fluffy seasoned rice and tender chicken! After the meal I received a complimentary fruit pudding dessert which was very good. Service was good nothing outstanding but the lunch price is very much worth visiting for! They have many lunch options and the menu is labeled clearly for dietary restrictions.

Service is good.. we were seated right away and they were polite & attentive.. Food was below average.. Gobi Manchurian is not good.. it’s a misleading name for a dish noting similar to the Manchurian you get in India .. we also ordered butter chicken .. this dish supposed to be made with Tandoori chicken pieces and the gravy tastes a bit sweet.. but their version of the dish had strips of breast pieced cooked with some gravy.. not what we expected.. Overall a disappointing visit to this place..

Easily one of the worst Indian restaurants I have ever been to. I do not think the chef knows how to prepare Indian food. The two curries we ordered had WHOLE peppercorns in them. We ordered medium hot and it was inedible without any flavor. Any competent Indian restaurant would never serve whole peppercorns and whole cloves in their curries. I’m attaching pictures of the peppercorns and cloves in about 1/3 of our left over. You can imagine how many were there in the whole dish.
