AT&T Store — Local services in Shrewsbury

My last review was erased and I am extremely Disgusted with the salesmen Dominic who authorized a Apple phone and a Apple watch on my account without following proper protocols. I never got a text and he didn't ask the person for a password. He was just interested in getting his commission and now AT&T is trying to say I authorized the purchase and saying I am responsible for the 1300 dollars for the phone and watch. They are treating me like a theif and not a victim. Dominic should be reprimanded for not following protocols just to get a sale and now I am going through hell trying to fix the problem he caused and getting treated like scum by this store in Shrewsbury and by AT&T in general. No one has called me from the store to apologize they just delete my Google review and tell me I am stuck with the bill. I am a very upset costumer and I would not recommend this store to anyone unless you like getting scammed by the salesmen...

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This store is not an AT&T Corporate Owned Retail Store, but an AT&T Authorized Retailer (privately owned) and they do not uphold their own return policy for a new iphone that was broken right out of the box. First, they told me I could exchange the device, but I had to pay a $45 restocking fee... on a brand new broken phone. I refused. Then, the next day, they insisted that they couldn't return the device because it was broken and that I had to go through the Apple warranty to get a repair, which is insane. I talked to 6+ AT&T employees at different stores and via the AT&T customer care hotline, and all of them said they had never heard of a store denying a return within 14 days and that they waive the $45 fee when processing this type of return. I recently visited the AT&T store in Shrewsbury to switch my phone numbers to AT&T. My salesperson, Travon Howard, was absolutely fantastic!

Travon took the time to clearly explain all the benefits of different plans, and even provided a printout for me to review at my own pace. This made the decision-making process much easier. He also found the most affordable option for swapping our old phones for new ones, ensuring we got great phones under the deal.

Travon was upfront about the potential for a higher first month's bill, but he clearly explained the reason behind it. This transparency was very much appreciated.
