I found Fresh Flamingo a couple of weeks ago and contacted them about their concept and products. The owner Patrik was kind and helpful. He explained me their mission about healthy meal delivery service, and let me tell you something, their idea is awesome. They deliver healthy prepared meals daily. No minimum order! No delivery fees!! WOW! Amazing! So I talked to him at the weekend and I placed my order for the whole week on their website. It is simple; I picked the meals what I like for the specific days and they delivered every day to my office before lunch time. The secret of their freshness is the clean and fresh local ingredients. They offer low carb meals, seafood meals and vegan meals as well. They have a huge variety of meals, so you never get bored with their food. I had their Creamy Tuscan salmon with rice it was a delicious meal, with fresh herbs. The fitness meal: grilled chicken with carrot mash and grilled zucchini was tasty and healthy, low in carbs and high in protein and fiber. So many gluten free and dairy free options daily. Seriously they can satisfy all my cravings. Now I can follow easily my daily calories, everything posted on their website. I prefer the protein high, low carb meals. They make my life easier with their healthy meals, so I have more motivation to go back to the gym a couple of times a week and get into shape. I recently started the Keto diet and I've lost 10lb's in one week with Fresh Flamingo. This is not a diet food service by any means, but the people at Fresh Flamingo are willing to make healthy nutritious food that fits into anyones lifestyle. Everything is literally as "Fresh" as the name. Patrick and Gloria are so warm and willing to accommodate their customers to no end. This is a gourmet food service that's delivered to your doorstep daily, with a smile, for a fraction of the price you would pay going out to eat. Especially in the circumstances we live in today, I cannot say enough good things about Fresh Flamingo. It's truly changed my way of eating and set me up for a lifetime of healthier food choices. Very high quality food both nutrition wise and gastronomically. I think the price is also very very reasonable nowadays. Proper portions even for a person like myself with a very active lifestyle, physical work everyday plus training. I also like the menu a lot. Nice, well thought out dishes. Not too many to over complicate, but enough to find what you’re looking for. Ohh and one more thing, the method they use to cool the food right after it’s done and before they put it in the boxes is very clever. Keeps it moist and zesty. As a “full time hobby athlete” I’m used to eating meals from tupperwares and I’m telling you, I never had a meal from a plastic box that taste and feels as fresh as these.
