Today I had one of the most terrible experiences at this Siloam Springs ATT location. My mom and I had been at the Springdale ATT early in the morning Saturday working on our account when the associate noticed when my mom traded in her old phone in January (at the Siloam location), it looked like the credit had not been added. The associate at Springdale cautioned us and said this looked quite suspicious and we should go to the Siloam location to get it figured out. When my mom traded in her phone in January in Siloam, the manager Chris helped her. He called her the next day and asked her to turn off “Find My iPhone” and we did that night and called him back the next day to let him know it was done. He said it could take up to 30 days to process. During the last 5 months my father has battled terminal cancer. He took care of the account and during this time our credit was not on the front of our mind. When we arrived at the Siloam location, Sawyer helped us. We told him our situation and he told us he needed to escalate it his manager.. Chris. We waited for Chris to come and speak to us for close to 2 hours. Sawyer was so kind and checked on us multiple times. Finally Chris came to speak to us and asked for us to explain what happened. We told him everything and he said “he was remembering this” and he said “I don’t even know if I ever sent that phone off”. He went to the back and quickly came back with our trade in phone. He told us we never called back about the Find My iPhone but we in fact, did. The next day. We again tried to plead with him but were met with him saying “this was 5 months ago, why are you just coming in now”. We explained my father’s situation and Chris responded “I don’t know what this has to do with me at all” and “what’s happened with your father has nothing to do with me”.. WOW. Just wow. And he also started changing his tone and saying, “I don’t ever remember you all calling me back” or “I don’t think you ever called” even though i was in the room while she called. He abruptly ended the conversation and told us to have a good day and leave. We took the phone and left because what good was it to fight with a grown man and if we didn’t get credit for it, I want it. When we got to the car, I open up the paper and he had written notes. You can see he made a note on 1/28/25 that we called to tell him Find My iPhone was off and he was going to check on our trade in on 2/28/25. Seems to me like he forgot and tried to blame in on us. Totally and completely unprofessional and I’m actually shocked this guy is the manager. NO customer service skills at all. Even the other associate was shocked at the things he was saying to us. The Springdale associate informed us that he reported Chris for his behavior and even said this isn’t the first time this has happened with a Chris. He said to leave a review in hopes a district manager would get with us for help. I’m so thankful for the corporate store for the help they could provide and moving forward we will ONLY do business with them after this horrible encounter. Hoping ATT loyalty or a DM can provide help for this situation. If you plan to go to the...
Read moreDon't go here unless you want someone to intentionally not help you and then tell you just to call "customer service". I went here Saturday because I signed up for services and immediately canceled them because nothing worked like anyone said it would, the cellular wouldn't work at all. I was assured I wouldn't be charged anything because I canceled everything 2.5hrs after getting it activated but 24hrs later I received an email with a bill in it. I went to this store to attempt to get something showing that the account was completely closed and I didn't owe anything. The woman that was helping me was saying that she could see on her tablet that everything had been closed out and I didn't owe anything but absolutely refused to even show it to me. Then she said she could take a screenshot of the information and text it to me but what she texted me didn't have any account information on it so there was nothing proving it was closed out with nothing owed. After I pointed this out she just wrote the account number down on a piece of paper and told me to call "customer service". She could've printed out the account details or even sent me an actual screenshot of the account details since I already verified I was the account owner but she refused to even let me see the information at all. I've had att several times over the years but I've never been lied to and had "customer service representatives" flat out refuse to do anything like I have just this past week. Is there anyway that I might be able to talk to someone that has half a clue about what they're doing? I canceled everything in January and even had multiple representatives confirm that everything was canceled but I just got an email yesterday about my att air internet account getting closed YESTERDAY and that I have until the end of March to send the equipment back when it was closed and everything was sent...
Read moreI came in on November 18th of 22. I was in the worst shape of my life needing a new phone. I’ve been w/ AT&T for yrs. I explained my situation to the store manager Dustin. He looked me in the eye telling me he’d helped me w/ the best possible deal and he added a case to boot. The next month my bill had been raised over 100 dollars from the previous 10 yrs. I gave him 200$ cash and he told me the safe was time locked and he’d apply the remainder to my phone bill. The man lied to me in every possible way you could. He pocketed my money. I want to send a shout out to AT&T corporate for opening an investigation. Demanding the camera footage and reimbursement of my money plus lowering my phone bill to its normal rate. As of today this Dustin still has his job. I’ll check back next week. When I spoke with him on the phone he advised me his store is not corporate and there’d be no footage supplied to anyone. AT&T tells me different. So we’ll see. Thank you AT&T corporate for going to bat for me in this situation. As far as this Dustin V. He’s a thief. Supply the footage and prove me wrong Dustin. The owner of this franchise outlet needs to be aware of the criminal activity and swindling of its hard working customers. If the store owners wants to respond just comment below and I’ll give you my number or come into show you...
