I'd give -100 stars if I could. DO NOT EAT HERE! THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU. We showed up got immediately seated and got drinks pretty quickly so service started out good but then quickly went downhill. It took 45 minutes just for our food to get to us and it was almost cold. We asked our waitress twice to refill our daughters drink and she passed it several times on the edge of the table and still took another 15 minutes getting it. I ordered hash browns with my meal and I had to remind her 3 times that I ordered hash browns she didn't bring it out until the very end. After we were finished eating and only after there was an issue with our check and we reminded her once again. I asked specifically if we could choose the flavor for the French toast and she said "if you want too" then proceeded to bring me flavored pancakes that was supposed to be the French toast and it was a protein pancake that I never asked for. My meal came with 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, 3 buttermilk pancakes and 1 slice of the new french toast. On our receipt they tried to charge me for the pancakes that came with the meal! They corrected it but at this point the service was so bad that I left no tip. Then we left and I decided to check my bank account shortly after the waitress gave herself at $10.00 tip!!!! We went back and confronted them and the manager said "it doesn't look like she altered her copy of the receipt, sorry we can't do anything for you" why would she alter her receipt if everything is computer based!!!!!!!! Then the manager proceeds to say "yeah it's been happening to people lately don't know why" so my husband ask "so I guess I need to contact your district manager." The manager says "umm idk I would wait a couple days" then waves us off. That is blatant theft and I want answers and that girl...
Read moreThey put a new IHOP in town so we had to try it - the food is what I expect from any other IHOP, so the 4 stars are really just for consistency more than anything. I don't normally rate chain restaurants just because most of them are the same. I went in wanting breakfast and their famous pancakes and that's what I got! I've not tried anything other than their breakfast special with eggs, ham, Hashbrowns and pancakes, but I'd assume their lunch and dinner is as good as it is at any other IHOP location.
The food was good, but comparing it to other local breakfast places to eat in town, it's not going to be my first choice. The ONE thing I was excited about was theirr flavored syrups, boysenberry in particular, and they didn't have it so that was a let down. They didn't have many choices at all - Regular maple syrup, butter pecan and strawberry is all they had. Its been a bit since I've been to an IHOP, but that was a let down knowing they're famous for pancakes and the different syrups you can get. The last time I ate there, they didn't have all the syrup containers with different syrups necessary BUT they did have little plastic cups they would bring with whatever kind you wanted.
The restaurant is clean and updated from when the Cotton Patch was there, the service was ok - other than when we went to checkout at our table, they sit there and wait for you to sign your credit card receipt which I didn't like. I felt like I may have left a bigger tip had they not done that...
If you're wanting consistency from an IHOP, this one doesn't disappoint, BUT I will say I'm thankful for more local options than this one...
Read moreI ordered the big steak breakfast meal which comes with one side. Pancakes or hashbrown. I requested the strawberry an cream crepes instead of pancakes. The waitress said those were discontinued an suggest there other berry crepes. I Said ok I,ll do that an I was aware of the upcharge no problem. only there was an issue I didn't like the taste of the berry crepe I was brought. I took it to the manager an stated I didn't like it an could I get the bluepancakes with blueberry syrup. When I got it it had blueberry topping which I didn't ask for the topping but it was served to me anyway all I wanted was blueberry pancakes an I was gonna use blueberry syrup but they forced me to pay the upcharge for the topping I didn't order an wasn't aware There was a charge since pancakes come with the bigsteak order in first place but I had to pay full price for everything they served me even though I was served food I had to switch up because there normal berry crepe I got first didn't taste good an I never wanted the extra topping on my blueberry pancake but the manager didn't care still wanted payed for everything served even if I was a very dissatisfied customer got what I ordered an extra was charged for I didn't order. After years of stopping to eat here. Not eating at this ihop again. To those that read this make sure they inform you of charges because they will serve you stuff you didn't order an force you to pay for it all before...
