Silver City Museum — Local services in Silver City

The old historic building that the museum was really cool. 90% of the museum is dedicated to Flamenco dancing. It was interesting but a strange. I would have though that the museum would be centered around the town and it’s history and heritage. No the less our 7 and 5 year old kids enjoyed it. The ladies here are sweethearts!! They will chat with you about the town & are happy to make suggestions about where else to visit. The gift shop is well stocked with lots of local treasures. The museum itself is small but still really interesting & the house itself is charming. No bells n whistles just an authentic look into this towns past. Great small museum that has interesting photos and items from the history of the area, with lots of interesting info. It's not a huge museum so it's a nice stop while walking around town without tiring you out. There is a scavenger hunt activity for kids. A cute gift shop. Be sure to go to the top floor if you can, the view is great.
