I visited this Popeyes around 9 o'clock on Saturday and took the food to go I ordered a 3 piece chicken platter and a 3 piece chicken tender meal. When I got home and me and my family were eating our meals the chicken tasted as if it had been sitting out for a long time it did not taste fresh and the fries were hard. I contacted this Popeyes and they said that they would give us a credit for food and that we could come in whenever we would like I went back on Sunday and they were making up our food for us after we have been waiting around 30 minutes which is fine as long as they were going to give us fresh food the owner or manager who was there came out and made a big scene that we should have came back the night we got the food and that the reason our food was not the best is because we took it to go so by the time we got home his excuse was that it would no longer taste fresh. We order food from there to go all the time and I don't know what has changed maybe the management or whatever but the food just does not taste the same anymore. I would have continued to go to this Popeyes had he not came out and caused a big scene in the restaurant saying that it was our fault because we should have came back the same night. 10/2/ unfortunately I need to revise my review. Lately I’ve observed some something concerning. I didn’t think much of it when I was asked for proof of an app order pickup. The employee was pretty abrasive's when asking for my order number. I work in Simi Valley and I was a regular customer.
I decided to do a little test over the last few months.. I visited the location recently, I ordered at the counter and everything was fine. When a customer came in to pickup his order, he wasn’t asked for his proof of purchase. I’ve noticed this over the last few months. I feel that I’m being discriminated against, I’ve heard of owners or managers who will tell their employees to treat African Americans differently. I did submit a concern online but I haven’t heard anything back. I won’t visit this particular establishment anymore.

Read moreI stopped by this Popeyes today to take advantage of my T-Mobile Tuesday deal on their wings. I applied the coupon to my account so I placed my order on their app. I got 6 bone in wings with the signature hot seasoning and did the same for my other 6 orders of wings. The key to using the coupon is that you have to add your 1st time to the court first and then add the coupon code afterwards for it to work properly. I put in my order right when they open, I had to wait 1 minutes extra for the app to detect it properly and my order was placed. I found the store alright and there not a lot of parking spots here but since I was there first customer, it wasn't a problem. I walked inside and showed the cashier my online order email.
