Habitat for Humanity of Ventura Restore — Local services in Simi Valley

Giving them 2 stars because the volunteers are cool. On the other hand, the company could get a better manager. This woman does not have appropriate manager/sales etiquette. I was going to purchase a item, that was on the floor.... it had a price etc. The manager, was trying to take my item away, instead of honoring the price of the item. she said, “oh, well that item was supposed to be sold, along with another item, for double the price” I wasn’t going to purchase the other item, it was broken. Also, after plugging my item in, it was also broken, but it wouldn’t take much to fix the item. But the manager was still trying to say, “it shouldn’t been on the floor for that price”. There was NO WAY I was going to purchase both items for double the price, when both items were broken. Then, while I was trying to work with her, another customer came up, wanted to purchase four identical items, it had a price tag on it. The manager instead of honoring the price for the items, she made up her own price, and said “ it was supposed to be this price”. A “GOOD MANAGER” does not do that! I have never seen a manager ever act that way. I walked out in disbelief. I will NEVER shop at this...

I love the Habitat for Humanity Restore in Simi Valley. All the people that donate their time to help you like Taneci, Anthony 1 and Anthony 2 couldn’t have been more helpful. I furnished my entire kitchen with custom made cabinets after an unscrupulous contractor took off with all my money and didn’t do anything but demolish my house. I never would have been able to do it without these wonderful people at the restore. I recommended them to my doctor who is so excited to come check it out. And you are helping other families get their own house when you purchase items there. Sure beats the chain stores by a mile. Thank you all at Simi Valley Restore! I know its dor chaeity but the prices are very high I found the sisxount sticners program which is a great savings. I asked ath the front counter if I can donate dresser in the oven and some shelves the girl at the front side yes bring it all I loaded it all up came the next day the guy in the back said they haven't taken big items like that for months and it won't be able to for more months to come it's kind of frustrating that they didn't understand that it's not easy to load this stuff up and make it get there to find out that they can't take it found a lot of different items that I did not expect and I assume that that...
