i feel like many of the people posting negative reviews of this location are to blame for their own negative experience. for one, you can’t order 3+ drinks in the drive thru and expect them all to be done by the time you get to the window 10 seconds later. newsflash: mobile orders, third-party delivery orders, and in-store orders are all happening at the exact same time, and none of that is helped by the fact that starbucks stores are notoriously understaffed because the corporation won’t pay employees fairly. so sure thing karen! go ahead and complain that your off-menu drink with 5 customizations isn’t everything you hoped and dreamed it would be.
drive thru line taking too long? that’s fascinating. have you considered that they have orders coming in from customers inside the store, the starbucks mobile ordering system, and third-party delivery apps? (i know you didn’t actually consider that, because you walk into–or, drive through–a place like this on your high horse.) i have some great news for you. go ahead and walk right inside! order there! voilà!
for the record, i don’t work for starbucks. i never have. however, i know many people who do, and i know that these are the sorts of things they want to say to a-hole customers who b*tch and complain about a DRINK!!! is this really the big great shakespearean tragedy of your day, karen? that your frilly, 120-grams-of-sugar, as-seen-on-tiktok drink is not exactly how you pictured it? are you devastated that the barista didn’t read your mind to understand exactly what your thoughts and feelings were upon taking your order? cry me a river and fill out an application.
if you’re this type of customer, i hope you know that even OTHER CUSTOMERS face severe secondhand embarrassment listening to you throw a toddler-esque fit over your drink orders. apparently when they say that coffee stunts your growth, they forget to mention that your mental growth is affected by that as well.
editing this to add that the staff here are insanely kind and funny and they make my experience here a million times better every time
Read moreThis must be a licensed location. I was the fourth car in line and when it was my turn, I waited for about 4 minutes at the window for a cold, gross salted caramel “hot” chocolate (minus the salt as they were out). There were two baristas that I saw, the one working the counter looked at me a few times while she made one drink (that turned out not be mine) and the one working the drive thru didn’t look at me once until she took my money after I waited for about four minutes at the window. It wasn’t busy, the counter barista was just watching the drive thru barista for the majority of the time and the drive thru barista sat poking the register the whole time but there wasn’t anyone behind me. Not sure if she had some kind of issue but she didn’t apologize for the wait and handed me my drink which was already prepared and sitting near the window. I said, “oh, it’s already ready?” as I was surprised it was not what the counter barista made while I was sitting there and most likely too cold to enjoy. She said, “yeah”, I took my drink, did not tip (because, why?), and decided not to return. I go to Starbucks a few times a year, I’m not really into coffee but I’ve always had better...
Read moreEntered lobby at 858pm to place order (4/17/22). Shift leads yells out lobby is closed. I said ok, I was taking drink to go anyway. She made a face to other baristas and said DT was open till 10pm. So I say I'm aware, but already out of my car and just need to order 1 drink to go. Begrudgingly she said I guess I can ring u up, to which I decided to leave already.
