Marshalls — Local services in Sioux City

On Saturday the 11th of October 2025 I went shopping at Marshall in Sioux City Iowa address 5755 Sunnybrook drive soiux city Iowa 51106. With me and my kids. While I’m shopping looking for items to buy, one of the employees came up to my kids while walking behind me and telling my daughter who is on 10 and 2 that my 2 year old can’t be screaming in the store because there are people shopping. I was not happy at all. Every year I would come shopping at Marshall because the store has good products but on that Saturday was just not my day after the employee say that to me. I don’t think I would ever want to come back. I was not able to buy anything and just left the store. I just want to say that no store would ever say anything like that to a mother who just want to buy stuff for their kids. Kids will be kids and when you try your best to calm a child is not that simple. Please consider not to tell a mother that she shouldn’t be letting her kids scream anymore. I love shopping here and most of the employees are very friendly except the older woman working the dressing room station today (09/22/16 @1400) . She was extremely passive aggressive and snobby towards me and even had the audacity to go through the clothes I was going to try on to see if I had "anything hiding in the pockets" . She did not do this to other customers that were ahead of me so that made me pretty upset. After she embarrassed me by going through my clothes she continued to make smirky comments as I walked away. I was about to turn around and let her have it but I'm classier than that, a word she clearly does not understand. The lady at the register was extremely rude this was at 10:30. She was the only person on the register and I was just going up to the register to put my stuff on the counter since she was the only up ringing people up. She told me to stop and put my stuff back in the cart and wait until she calls me. It doesn’t hurt her or the company if I put my stuff on the counter since she was the only one working the register.
