Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom — Restaurant in Sioux City

Came in after my sisters volleyball game, we saw the pictures of the food and really wanted to try it. It took about 20 minutes from the time we came in for my mom to get her wine, and a few minutes later my sister and I finally got our waters. From here it proceeded to get worse, with our server only. She came back a few minutes later and asked about our appetizers and then left again. Mind you, we were hungry so we closed our menus before we got our drinks (universal sign for, "We know what we want to eat"). Our server had a great smile and was sweet, but took forever with just about everything for us. Our appetizers came out quick, and the food was out pretty much there right when we finished the appetizers, which was great. We got to eat, the food was very good, but we were disappointed with 3 other things during the meal - she did not offer to bring out sauces, which go great with fries. My sister spilled her water, the server stared at it until someone was done chewing and was able to ask for more napkins. I watched as she went to process another customers card, and then came back to finally bring us one small napkin. We ended up using our sleeves to dry up the rest of the water. Finally, as I have been writing this entire review, it has taken her this long (about 10 minutes) to process our card and bring out the check. We were sad that there was no cheesecake left, but we will give this place another shot because of the food.

Lastly, our to-go box for my grandma was brought out while we were eating, which means it will be colder when it finally gets there.

Kennedy was our server, we give her a 2/10 for her service. The other staff there did a great job and we were happy with their service, which is why you guys are getting a 2 star for service instead of a 1 star.

My mom always does videos and promotes local businesses, but chose not to do it for here because she does not feel comfortable recommending this place due to the poor...

I would give a zero but you can't we went here with our daughter and we all ordered the double cheese Burger with Bacon and also the largest order of boneless wings we didn't get hardly any wings there were like 10 or 12 little pieces of chicken on the plate and not much sauce on them the burgers we got ended up being a single cheese Burger that was cooked beyond death no Bacon accompanied like it was supposed to when we asked the waitress what happened she replied that the cook was new and didn't know what everything was yet OK I get that but dbl cheeseBurger means yeah two burgers not one and Bacon would mean ? Yeah you get Bacon on it our burgers were cold as well I normally won't complain but was not happy at all McDonald's would have tasted much better and that's just crazy to think that she said she could order us new burgers and she would comp us some of the price for the first ones we got well we didn't want to wait another 45 minutes for three more sub par a burgers I was happy to know that we weren't the only ones having issues that day the table next to us was disgusted with their meal and appetizers as well because temp of food and messed up or missing order items I have heard so many good things about this place from others that have visited other locations but I'm sorry this one did not meet my expectations not for the 47 dollar bill we got for three burgers and a few wings just so it's clear we did leave our usual approximately 25%tip because the waitress did try to help but she can only do So much when it's up to manager when it comes to Comping meal prices so we still gave get 12 bucks for the three of us were not cheap just expect good food...

Old Chicago hit a new all time low in customer service and food quality today. Arrived at 12:25 for lunch and were promptly greeted and seated outside as requested. Waited over 10 minutes and still no waitress. Went inside to order beer at the bar and the hostess said she would find our waitress. Waitress came out a few minutes later and took our order. Burgers were undercooked and extremely greasy. It left a 3 inch puddle of grease on my plate. Had to flag down the server everytime we needed anything, drinks, silverware, check while looking at several tables covered with dirty dishes. The couple next to us waited 15 minutes for water. While obviously under staffed today the manager spent the majority of our time there in the rear corner of the restaurant on his laptop and cellphone. We go here at least twice a month and it's been getting worse for a while. We won't be back...
