The Brule concert was nice but the crowd control was extremely poor. Numerous announcements were made to keep the concrete areas clear for emergency use but once Brule started several hundred people stood in front of the stage blocking the view of everyone behind and totally obstructing the emergency path.
I would suggest you set up a designated area for handicapped people so their view is not obstructed by inconsiderate and UNKIND jerks who think we came to see them cavort and prance ( some half nude)
SDPB had to move their cameras several times as the mob kept running into them. The online feed was jerky every time someone ran into the camera, tripod and videographer.
I would suggest that an area at least 20 feet wide be fenced off in front of the stage where no one is allowed to stand except the camera people.
The only security I saw was one armed elderly man who was totally ineffectual.

Read moreAs an entertainer we are always excited when new venues become available for us to perform. This outdoor stage is perfect for everybody involved. There is a grass burm for the spectators that probably holds up to 6,000. There is a drive-up area for entertainers and you can pull a ramp right out onto the back stage area for a load in. The stages concrete. and there are at least four double outlets along each side wall of the stage so there is plenty of clean power. I did an event yesterday for Barre-3 and we had somewhere around 75 to 100 participants. The acoustics are terrific. Couldn't ask for...
