Dollar General — Local services in Slippery Rock

I called this store twice just a few minutes ago; I am not sure who answered the call but it was the same girl twice. First time she answered, the line was silent for a few seconds then she said "Hello." I was in the middle of asking my question and she just hung up. Second time she actually said "Slippery Rock Dollar Store how can I help you" or something like that. Out of all the dollar generals in my area this is the one I never go to because I never have the best experience. But today I had no choice. I spent 54 dollars and thought it was weird bc I didn’t get that much so I looked at my receipt to notice that the cashier didn’t give me my 70% off on the socks I got when there was a sign and I also got the 3 for $12 deal for cases of soda and she made me pay each case full price. I wish I noticed at the time and I hope the employees start to pay...

They have an okay selection of things you might need in a pinch and a lot of other junk that no one needs. Staff is friendly but not doing much of keeping their customers safe from spreading germs. A worker was stocking shelves, no mask and coughing everywhere and not even trying to cover his mouth. I think they should try a little harder being busy in a college town by using common sense. Just the common cold and flu are spread so easily this way. Please pass this basic idea...
