Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Smithfield

Smithfield Pizza Hut.... you need to do better! This is the second time we have ordered within 3 weeks of each order and it seems that you always forget our drink. 3 weeks ago the driver forgot it, we called to let you know. Why do we have to go through so much to get it. It's bad enough that we give high tips and yet you still question us! First you tell us you don't have the order that was just delivered and then you say of here it is. Without apologizing, you just hand over the drink. Tonight the same thing happened again. Iasked the driver where the drink and he says this is all they gave me. My daughter automatically says "I guess I'm going to get the drink". But to add to it, I called to let you all know and the guy that answers says you'll have to talk to my manager and then hangs up. My daughter shows up there, and explains it to some girl. I say girl because a lady or woman would not have argued and then have an attitude and snatched the receipt from my daughter! This is getting really ridiculous!! I guess Papa John's and Dominoes will be our new Pizza place along with Sals. Get it right!! It's makes no sense that we pay delivery and tips but yet we're still doing your job!! Easy...

Me and the family visited the Pizza Hut in Smithfield, Va at about ten mins to 9 tonight, not realizing that the dining room closed at 9 and it was only the drive-thru that stayed open til 10. We didn't realize this until a little later on because the server happily sat us and took our drink and food order with a smile. Fake or not, that means a lot. I've been a restaurant worker several times and I know that frustration. Many can't hide their distaste for "those people." Our order came out quick and our drinks stayed filled even while she worked on her closing duties. I apologized when I was paying the bill and thanked her appropriately, I feel, for the service she gave. We were tired from the ride, but I'm sure they were just as tired having worked nearly their entire shift. They could've turned us away and not gotten an argument, but they didn't. It's been quite a few years since we ate at this Pizza Hut, since we don't travel to that area that much now. Last time we were there the salad bar was still being used and you could eat in the restaurant. So we decided to stop and eat, first we should have known something was wrong when we got there about 11:30 or so and the door was still locked. We were getting ready to leave and someone unlocked the door, we went in and they asked what we wanted. I placed the order and we went and sat down. The tables were sticky and the place really wasn't clean. Looking around it was obvious they didn't serve as a sit down restaurant anymore. We decided to leave, my wife and two grandkids went out to the car and I tried to get someone's attention to let them know we were leaving. Tried a few times when I couldn't get anyone's attention. I left and we went to another restaurant. I then called the store and told them we had left and do what they wanted...
