ALDI — Local services in Smyrna

I recently visited the Smyrna Delaware Aldi location to take some photos and videos of my motorcycle, as I have done a few times before without any issues. However, during this visit, a store employee approached me to address their concerns regarding safety for their employees. I explained that I was just finishing up and getting ready to leave, and I fully understood their perspective.

Unfortunately, the situation escalated as another employee came out and, rather than working to resolve the issue calmly, seemed to push the matter further, even though I was already in the process of leaving. The tone felt antagonistic, and I found it unprofessional that both employees ultimately threatened to involve local law enforcement despite my cooperative responses and clear intention to leave.

I respect Aldi’s commitment to employee safety, but I believe this situation could have been handled with more courtesy and understanding. Customer interactions, even in unusual situations, are important opportunities to maintain goodwill and show respect. I hope this feedback encourages the staff to approach similar situations with a more balanced response...

My first Aldi experience was in West Palm Beach Florida and then St Augustine Florida I now live in Delaware and they built two new ones since I've been here I've also been to one in North Carolina Raleigh Carey area I forgot one time I was in the Tampa area and noticed a wine that my boss at the time bought and could not find in Palm Beach area so I bought her whatever number bottles they had and took it back to her she was very pleased. They recently reconstructed a Winn-Dixie that was in Jupiter Florida and made this huge store and all these where I was born and raised but I have yet to go in the store but the next time I visit I will make it a point to go and see what does all these have to offer in...
