Hello, hungry one.... I hope you are hungry for an honest review. Here we go. I spend my irreplaceable time creating honest reviews to assist people just like you in making the best choice as possible to fit their needs. I am here from out of town and I grew up here when the diner was in its old location. I liked the "old school" atmosphere of the old location, but this new place is super clean and has plenty of seating for larger parties. The food is decent and does not take long to serve the customer. I will say that I have not been there when they have a lot of diners to serve. I have included a few images for you to see. I had the chicken fried steak this time and the cheesesteak the last time. The cheesesteak was pretty good. I thin i liked it more than the steak. The broccoli 🥦 I got was a bit overcooked but still ok for me. Mashed potatoes were good and fluffy and the gravy was decent. The steak was not super big, but it was tasty. There is about 4 handicap parking g spots and the place is wheelchair accessible but..... the parking spaces are a bit of a stroll from the main entrance. ( I'm confused by that engineering) However, there is a lane used as a loading zone, so you may drop off your ♿️ bound companion. If need be and then park the vehicle. There are plenty of seats, and at a glance, it looks like room for 200 people, but I could be wrong. They Do Not stay open too late, so bring your appetite earlier in the evening for the best results. NOTE: if you find my review "helpful" or "entertaining," please hit that "helpful" button down below to let Google know. This action helps my Local Google Guides rating and makes this worth my time. I appreciate you and I originally started doing review to assist the ♿️ population with finding places that they can enjoy with ease of access. Thanks very much for your time. With ❤️, J

Went here tonight the wait wasn't long got setted right away waited about five minutes for someone to come over to take my order it was the hostess that got my drink order waited about five minutes for the waitress about 15 minutes for my food order I ordered the grill Reuben which came with fries and coleslaw which I was thinking a big thing of coleslaw it's was a very small cup the sandwich which was really good the cornbread was very fresh it was a great sandwich the coleslaw was really good even though u get a very small cup the fries they aren't nothing special just fries from a bag the waitress came over one time after she gave me my food because he had to bring another table their food so if that table wasn't there I don't think I would ever see her the food was great can't say the same about the service first time here would come back for the sandwich I got because it was really good but don't think I would dine in

Not good! I got breakfast, 3 pancakes, eggs and sausage links. The pancakes were under done, rubbery and chewy. One of my pancakes had burnt flakes from a previous meal. It was like that pancake de-glazed their griddle that just cooked something savory with garlic. I still can't wrap my mind around the scrambled eggs. I think they use liquid eggs or egg beaters. But they didn't taste like eggs at all. They tasted like the smell of old grease. So weird. My partner got fried chicken. It was overdone and dry somehow. What was suppose to be breading had no flavor, and was VERY salty (salt is not a flavor). No crunch just grease. It was like salty flower that soaked up the frying oil🤷‍♀️. I paid 37 bucks for garbage. The service was decent though.... so there's that.

picked up dinner on my way home from work. Here’s the details, We ordered the open face hot roast beef sandwich with mash potatoes and gravy. We asked for extra gravy on the side. This was listed under specialty sandwiches. What we discovered when we got home was...a specialty sandwich that did not come with bread (none). The roast beef was cold, dry and hard (not tough but hard). You know how a roast will dry out and the edges will harden when it’s left sitting out on a plate for a prolonged period of time? Well that’s exactly what this was like. Of course we were not provided with the extra gravy. The mash potatoes were not good at all. Even they were dry. It appears that the cook did not add enough water to the instant potato flakes. The next meal was the turkey entree that came with gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce and 2 sides. We chose the baked yam and applesauce. The cranberry sauce was not even a teaspoon full. The yam was nowhere to be found. It was MIA just like the bread and gravy. The turkey was cold, tough and dry (exactly like the roast beef). The last meal was chicken croquet with 2 sides. We ordered Mac n cheese and cole slaw. The Mac n cheese was ok but tasted like leftovers. The Cole slaw tasted like it was bad (either old or left out at room temperature too long). For dessert, we ordered a slice of chocolate cake and a slice of coconut cake. It was no surprise that they both were stale. When we first discovered that we were missing some of our order, we contacted the diner. The young man who answered the phone is the same one who took the order and sliced the cake. His response to our missing items was basically no big deal as he stated, “there was no up-charge for those items, so you didn’t pay extra for them”. I proceeded to tell him that I may not have paid extra for the missing items but I did pay for those meals which included the bread and the baked yam but not provided. He advised me that he would leave a note and if I decided to place an order in the future then maybe they will then provide me with that yam and bread. REALLY ??????? In all of my 51 years, this literally was the worst meal I have ever had in my entire life and it all ended up in the trash. Even my dogs would not touch it. Not to mention that garbage cost me almost $50. NEVER AGAIN will we order anything from the...

I came in, got seated, after about 15 minutes a woman came from the back to ask the table behind us if someone had gotten their drink order, than asked for our drink order. The drinks arrived about 5 minutes later. After an additional 15 minutes the waitress came out and took the order of the table behind us. Another ten minutes passes, the same waitress reappears and took the order of another table. Mind you both of these tables were settled in when we arrived so upon first impression I had assumed we would be seen in a normal amount of time. At this point I did not even care to eat. I found my way to the restroom and upon returning I finished my coffee and it is now when the waitress comes to our table. She apologized for the wait and we asked for the check for the drinks we received from the first woman. The waitress walks off in a huffy, returns 2 or 3 minutes later and slams the reciept on the table and walks away. The place was not even half full. I know there were only 2 waiters/waitresses on the floor but there is no excuse for the wait or the attitude. It was only myself and my Dad. It was the first and most likely the last time I have been in or will be there. My Dad said he had been there once before at this location and had a simular experience with the service. Also a related/ unrelated note: the entire facility smelled like a nursing home, if that is too offensive of a way to put it than I will reiterate: the facility smelled of urine. Not attempting to be crass I am only being honest. I would have loved to have written of a wonderful meal and a great experience however I...
