I REALLY did not want to have to do this, but I feel absolutely cheated, and at this point I feel this is the only thing I can do...
I see a lot of reviews here saying how nice they are and they are nice, every interaction I had with them was pleasant for the most part.
For anyone who reads this and tells me "just get a ps5"... I can't, that's why I'm trying to get my PS4 fixed.
I went in there to get my PS4 disc drive fixed, it barely worked; making a weird clicking sound and not reading discs, if I tapped it in a certain way on occasion the disc would read (most of my games are on discs). I asked the guy if he could fix PS4s and he said yes; that he would have it back to me in a couple of days, I asked him if he could clean the inside too as there's dust in the vent, he says they clean it as part of the service. About a week later I call and ask him what's going on, he says he needed to get order some part for it. The next day he calls and says it's fixed. I go in to get it, he charges me $100 for the work, I look at the vent... still cover in dust, I mention it to him and he picks it out with tweezers in front of me... I don't really care as long as my PS4 is fixed and I can play discs on it again. I go home that night and try it out... nothing has changed, same clicking noise and discs not reading. I return to the shop the next day telling him it's the same as when I brought it in, he takes it back and says he will fix it for no charge (aside from $100 I've already spent on it).
What happens then is almost 2 weeks of silence, eventually I call and he tells me he had to order all these parts for it. I give it a few more days and I decided to show up to the store in person, I have to remind him who I am; to my surprise he tells me he can't find the parts that he needs so he's going to buy a used PS4 and take the parts from that one, he tells me he'll do this for free to make sure I am a satisfied customer. I tell him I am grateful but ask for my PS4 back so I can at least play the digital games I have for the time being; he tells me it's at his other store but that he'll bring it to this one, this takes an additional two days of back and forth before I finally get it. This time there is another guy there who gives it to me, I asked him if the main guy got the second hand PS4 yet, he says "yes, it's on the way". I asked him how much he paid for it; he says $120. I offer to pay for half and he tells me they'll work it out once they get it. I bring the PS4 home and it is even worse than before... no more clicks NOW the drive just doesn't work at all... oh well, guess I'll just wait.
THREE WEEKS GO BY and I hear nothing! Finally, tired of waiting I go into the store, other guy is there I asked him what's going on with the PS4 and he tells me he's not sure if main guy has bought it yet. WHAT? It is then I realize I've been lied to! They were just empty promises... They were probably hoping I would just forget. I waited a few more days before writing this review hoping they would call, and I know they have my number I've given it to them four times! The last time I gave them my number instead of a name I just told them to write the "PS4 guy" so they know exactly what I'm there for!
What really gets me is the empty promises and the lack of communication, I would have been fine if they had told just me they couldn't fix it, but they just kept lying; making kind-hearted promises that wouldn't lead anywhere.
I will never do business there again, they are untrustworthy. Since this started I have $100 less and a PS4 that is worse off...
   Read morei had the back glass of my iphone replaced no more that 2 weeks ago and initially was happy with the repair job but after further inspection there are gaps between the glass and the cameras & flashlight, there was also glue everywhere, those were minor issues that i could get past, but today i dropped my off a bench (no more than 2-2 1/2 feet off the ground and phone had a good case on it) and the glass is shattered with chunks falling off and exposing the inside of my phone. i couldnât even put the case back on without more glass breaking. i donât believe a phone should be able to shatter from such a small drop with a case on which leads me to believe cheap quality glass was used. ultimately pretty...
   Read moreMy screen stopped working on my older phone. I stopped at other shops in the area. The Battery place looked sketchy and they were way too busy with non phone stuff. Another place I stopped at the guy just sneared at it being an older phone and wouldnât even touch it or give me any help. Stopped into this shop and was greeted and taken care of within minutes after he finished with another customer. He recognized my phone as older asked a few questions on what was happening and said I probably needed a new screen. Had it fixed in 15 minutes for a very reasonable $100. I was expecting to get gouged a lot more. Very nice honest people. Save yourself time and go here first even if it is a little...
