We had pretty much stopped going to all Taco Bells because they always got our orders wrong, and they've stripped their menu down to remove absolutely every good item. We were in a pinch and stopped here anyway, and what a pleasant surprise. Most Taco Bells don't seem to be able to figure out how to label the burritos, and when you order 10 to 15 different burritos for people, It's a mess figuring out what is what, and unrolling burritos and rerolling them to try to identify is a time-consuming mess. Here they used a simple sharpie to solve the problem, and allowed us to eat quickly without our food all getting cold and being unrolled. The items were well made, done quickly, the staff was pleasant, and at the end on a bag was a simple sticker that said "thank you for visiting. If you have an issue we're here to talk about it, reach out to us with any concerns and we promise to make it right" with it both a phone number and an email. (!!) What a difference from the other Taco Bells were they almost always get the order wrong, and had always shorted us on one of the more expensive items, and didn't really care about accuracy or constructing the products well. Extended family members have stopped going to Taco Bells in their area because of their failure to get the orders right and because of all of the drastic menu changes. Each of our items at the Somers Point location was delicious, well made, and we will definitely be returning. We especially appreciated the sticker and the indication that they actually care about the quality of their work and their customer satisfaction. (Now if they could just restore the normal items to the menu, we would become regulars, but that is not this local Taco Bell's fault). ...
Read moreThere are 3 TB locations around me. One, in Somers Point NJ being the newest. Prior to that one opening up, I had given up going to TB. The other 2 locations could NEVER get my order right. I was tickled when this new location opened up, in hopes that I might get the SUPREME order I actually asked for. Out of 10 times going to these other locations, I was given the CORRECT order...maybe 3 times, and I am being generous there. My 1st visit at this NEW location was perfect. From top to bottom. Service, employees, wait time, food...ALL OF IT...ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Tonight was my 2nd visit...HORRIBLE. Once again...NOT SUPREME. It boggles my mind how this keeps happening...at 3 DIFFERENT STORES. The ONLY THING I keep going back to is that employees are being instructed to do this so profit is greater. Either that or someone in the organization is MAJORLY dropping the ball. Either in training or hiring process. This CAN NOT just be happening to me, it must be happening to others as well. If you calculate all the money they have taken from me....imagine what it is across the board. I will be contacting HQ for this to be made right. I will not have my money...
Read moreSo I was in line at the drive through and the girl working asked me how I was. For some reason, her warmth and kind tone made me feel like I could open up to her. I was honest, and I said I’d been having a bad day because I just learned I needed to have a blood transfusion. I ordered and pulled up to the window and drove off. The next day was the day of my blood transfusion, and I woke up in the hospital bed to find that every single Taco Bell employee had gone to the hospital to donate blood for me. I was touched… there is still good in the world. If you’re having a bad day, or even a good one, go to Taco Bell. The employees are among the most hospitable. Go to Taco Bell if you want to feel something...
