Alfredos Italian Kitchen Cambridge — Restaurant in Cambridge

I was recently staying in town for 3+ months to receive medical care at Mass Gen. Unfortunately, that meant being in a hotel without a kitchen all that time.

I was looking for a good Italian spot with reasonable prices, tasty food, a large selection, and big portions.

I found it: Alfredo’s Italian Kitchen. The menu is 4+ pages deep. Pastas, Appetizers, Pizzas, Wraps, Subs, Salads, Seafood, & more! If you can’t find something on the menu, you clearly aren’t hungry!

Heads up now: The portions are HUGE. You will easily get 1-2 more meals out of anything you order. For example, their pasta is large enough to feed two with leftovers for both the next day. The prices are fair for the huge portions.

And it’s not just large portions. The quality of the food is top notch. A few personal favorites are the Lasagna, Meatball Sub, Chicken Piccata over Linguini. Their pizza is also very tasty and very, very large.

Delivery orders are always packed very securely. Every order I’ve gotten has always been delivered piping hot with a smile. No issues, order is always correct.

If you can’t find a favorite or two on their giant menu, you’re not hungry! Keep up the amazing work! Whenever I’m in Boston I always make sure that one of my meals...

As a regular customer and resident of Cambridge all my life, I called to place an order for PICK UP and was told that they needed my credit card information before they can place my order because in 2017, I supposibly made an order for delivery and the driver stated that they called me several times and no one was home, which never happened. I spoke to the manager and explained to him that the only issue we ever had was when I placed a PICK UP and they sent it out for delivery. NOW.....I told him since you have my number, as a business owner you should have called me to discuss in 2017. I also explained that I'm more than willing to show him a copy of the numerous orders that I have placed in 2018. Myself and my family WILL NEVER order from this...

Ziti w/ Meatballs: Pasta was well-done. Sauce was overwhelming in that it tasted watered-down too thin for the other ingredients, and there was about ¼ cup left after all else was finished. The meatballs didn't seem fresh by taste or texture; I would guess store-bought or frozen at best. Will have to return to try the pizza—it seemed like that's their strong suit by seeing how many slices were ordered in the short time I was there. The single person at the POS seemed too busy dealing with phone orders, although there were only a few dine-in patrons. Even so, service was efficient and respectful.
