In the past I have had good experiences here, however not this time. I called All Appliance to inquire about a specific part number for a relay. I was told they did not have my exact P/N but if I wanted one right away they had a replacement one that would work. Since I wanted it immediately, I drove over and paid for it. Got home and tried it and it did not work, which caused me to waste more time troubleshooting the problem. However, I was 90% sure my problem WAS the relay. I subsequently ordered the relay from Amazon (for $8 vs $50 I was quoted by All Appliance to order the exact P/N I wanted). The one from Amazon worked perfectly. I realize All Appliance has a No Refund/No Return policy, however they recommended this relay as a valid replacement for what I was seeking, and then refused to take it back when I informed them it was the wrong one and did not work. In future I will just do what I ended up doing - ordering it from Amazon. In this age of online retail, companies like All Appliance need to excel at customer service. Recommending something to a customer that is wrong and then refusing to refund or take it back, or worse, offer a credit on the wrong one they just sold you, against the correct one that they've now quoted at 6X more than it is online, is not an example of good customer service.
In summary, IF you are going to shop here, MAKE SURE you walk out the door with the CORRECT part because they will point to their "no refund no return" sign if you try to return the part, even if they recommended it as a valid cross reference...
Read moreI never knew that this store existed before yesterday having not needed one. Well yesterday was indeed different, my AC fan motor quit the previous day and I had been directed here by an AC guy that knew I could probably do a self install. Sam was very helpful in getting me the parts I needed and I was out the door quickly. When I returned to the bad unit and opened the box I realized that the wiring set up was vastly different due to the age of the previous motor, the color coded wires were completely different. I called the store to ask about this not knowing if I needed a different model or just some guidance, and Sam took the time to explain each wire and what terminal it belonged to. It was a good 15 minute phone call, maybe longer, but I was given the information that I needed. I got the AC unit back up and running, saved hundreds of dollars over a service call, it works perfectly, and I couldn't have done it without All Appliance Parts and the help of Sam. ...
Read moreI've been a customer for as long as I can remember (20 years maybe longer) and what I've come to appreciate is the support and advice the folks at AAP willingly give. Their return policy assumes the customer knows what they are doing and has correctly diagnosed their issue and is buying the right part. I did everything right identifying the bad part but my dryer still didn't work. As it turned out, not only did I have a bad timer clock, but one side of the 220 breaker had tripped so the motor would run but no heat after the new timer was installed. The staff at AAP quickly knew what the issue was and with the reset of the breaker I was back online! They saved me from a very unhappy weekend late on a Friday afternoon! ...
