I came here to find a couple of pieces for a last minute photoshoot I had to do. I found about 9 pieces that could work, but I wanted the photographers to be able to pick what they wanted. I've never purchased clothes here before, so I asked the cashier before checking out if they accepted returns and explained why. She said in exact words "Yes. As long as it's within 7 days" so I checked out, went to my photoshoot the next day, and I brought back what I did not need that night. The cashier there then told me I was going to be getting a gift card; basically for an exchange. I told her that I was not told this when I checked out the day before. All she would say was that it's on your receipt .....and then circled it.
It's on my receipt... that I got AFTER I purchased the items. So how was I supposed to know this before making the purchase? I even specifically asked my cashier before buying it all. So cool, it was on my receipt... that even if I had read once I purchase the items, I was already told one thing, and now I'm stuck with another. So now I have a $65 gift card for Goodwill that will probably take me a whole year to use. That's really messed up to con people like that.
A return is different from a...
Read moreAll these ladies here are completely out of hand, they discriminate against certain people and are aggressive, rude, and even will call you stupid. I had a bunch of stuff in my cart I was gonna buy, and they said it was a danger for customers so one of the employees ripped my cart out of my hand and started pushing it away from me super fast with all my stuff in it because she was just extremely rude and a huge embarrassment for goodwill. She stole my purse, and wouldnât give it back until her coworker kept yelling that she had it. She ignored me loudly saying âyou have my purse can I have it backâ over and over and kept walking away from me with it only stopping once her coworker yelled HER PURSE enough times for it to register in her head. Since when does buying a lot of items ENDANGER other customers? That was their reason to harass me and ban me and rip my cart away from me with my wallet and purse in it and start walking away with it.
I literally did nothing, theyâre just mean and nasty people. Avoid at all costs. Plus their merchandise is overpriced, and if you want to buy too many items they will steal your stuff and cuss you out and ban you for being too dangerous for others! Biggest joke...
Read moreI am absolutely appalled by my experience at this Goodwill location. From the moment I walked in, the assistant manager, Kim, profiled me and followed me around the store like I was a criminal. It was incredibly uncomfortable. She even had the audacity to check my cart and accused me of planning to fill a cart and leave the items behind! When I finally made it to the self-checkout with my two kids, she stood right next to me, watching as I rang up my items. I asked her if there was a problem, and she just laughed and continued to harass me. She even tried to bring my two small children into the situation, which was completely uncalled for and made things even worse. Despite my clear requests for her to stop, she kept harassing me, saying I wasnât ringing things up fast enough. She then began to MOCK ME saying âomg your doing a great job keep goingâ when I told her I could ring things up at a pace thatâs comfortable for me. The whole situation was beyond ridiculous! I felt disrespected and upset, and nobody should have to deal with this kind of treatment. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously because I wonât be returning to a store where Iâm treated...
