This place is my go-to for fine jewelry. The service is personable and convenient and the products are high quality and affordable.

My partner and I both got our rings here. He came here to repair his grandmother’s set to propose to me and she did a wonderful job. I try to be delicate with it because it’s irreplaceable but I’m still kind of unintentionally rough since I’m clumsy. Despite my errors, it’s still held up with zero issues, even the prongs are holding strong. So often I will see people complain about rings they purchased from a big box store that will suddenly bend or stones will fall out within months or years but her work is much better than that.

She’s also designed a custom ring for him that is currently in the process of being made for him. The process was easy, she listened and incorporated important elements into it and educated me about materials and the process to get it just right.

Fast forward to 2023 I sadly had to part part with some of my jewelry and I wouldn’t go anywhere except to Je. I loved when I contacted through Facebook I was replied to in a reasonable time frame. When I was requesting an appointment the booking was quick and simple and not months out. Again I was met with very reasonable offers and business was smooth. The simple fact that business is by appointment only not only made me feel safe but it made me feel extremely valued as a customer. I made an appointment to taken my late husband’s and my wedding rings into Je Karaene Jewelers to see what my options were to create something beautiful. Je and I sat down and hashed over our ideas and possibilities. After an hour + we had a plan. After a few weeks she got back with me a computerized picture of a rough draft. She suggested a few changes that were brilliant and we both agreed to do it. It was a little while longer before I got the final ring which is gorgeous! It is a combination of the center stone, baguettes and smaller stones of my ring along with stones from my late husband’s ring. Additional stones were purchased to complete the ring. The final touch was melting down and combining the gold of the all rings to create a new band. It’s absolutely stunning! Je is easy to work with and so creative.
