Extremely disappointed in their service. I debated even doing a review but the fact that we have been returning customers of this restaurant (I’m talking about going there 3 times a month) and the way I was treated when I called really upset me. My husband and I went there for dinner a couple weeks ago and we ordered the same thing we always do. We hadn’t ate all day so we were starving lol. We start out with the shrimp appetizer and bread (the butter has changed) but it was still decent. Next comes our salad, I take about 2 bites but got a weird stale/rotten taste. I dig through the salad and pick out about 5 brown wilted pieces. I take another bite but the same after taste so I stop eating it. My husband stopped eating it after about two bites. He works in produce and said the salad is bad. We eat our main meal, I get the pork chops and it was good. The next day I get up and get ready for work and I’m feeling fine. Well two hours into my shift my stomach starts aching really bad. I went to use the restroom about 4 times within an hour period and still didn’t feel better. I started to feel like I was going to get sick so I leave work. Sure enough I get home and about 15 mins later I start puking. My husband comes home while I’m in the bathroom Nd he ran to the other bathroom and started puking. The pain didn’t go away and I we were puking and using the bathroom for about 7 hours until it started to subside. It was clear we got food poisoning so I called to tell them and they were rude saying well you don’t know it was us…….. yea ok. I really hoped they would make the situation right. We understand things happen but they just completely dismissed the situation. They lost lifelong customers and now I am going to go on multiple platforms leaving reviews and I am going to write a letter to...
Read moreOutback has changed for me and I no longer consider this a great option for family dinners. When we arrived, I said hello and asked how the hostess was. Her reply was" how many? (3 in my party that evening) She continued "it's an hour wait." With a hint of snark. We agreed. She got a phone number and explained. We would receive a text message from being entered in the system and a text message would be sent when the table was ready. She started speaking over us to the group behind. And this starts our experience at Outback. Buckle here we go. We pass the time by sitting outside and chatting. About 45 minutes later, the message arrived about our table being ready. Nice! Ahead of schedule. Looking better right? Hmm, that's a NO. Waitress came round and got our drink order. I wanted the alcoholic beverage that came with the rubber duck. Mmm, not my night, they are out of ducks. We order the blooming onion. Their signature appetizer - over fried. One of our 3 meals was wrong. 2nd person pushed the stab of ribs away and refused to eat them. As for my meal, well the baked potato was fire. Alice chicken was just warm enough to pass but not hot by any means. When asking other staff members for a refill or box, reply was I'll get your waitress. What happened to teamwork especially on a busy night where folks are willing to wait an hour to dine with you. Outback, sad to see you off our list of restaurants. Managers check on the hostesses at the door and share it never hurts to smile and be kind to the community that has decided to spend money at their...
Read moreIt was a less than ideal lunch experience. First and foremost, the staff was great. We were seated quickly and the server was the absolute best. They were attentive, caring, professional, and made sure we had enough bread, Dr Pepper, and Root Beer. I noticed that the low-hanging lights on the table had a bunch of dead stuck-on bugs in the inside of the shade and a conspicuous amount of dust on the top. The stuck-on kind that doesn't come off when you touch it. I have no question the table was cleaned recently, but I don't know how long it had been since the light was cleaned. My party shared a Bloomin Onion and it was phenomenal. 10/10 both the onion and the sauces. The restrooms were clean and in a state of good repair. It might be a good idea to make sure the signage is up to date and compliant if employees use that room. The entrées came right on time and they were not stingy with the mashed potatoes (and they were just delicious as always). I ordered the sirloin (medium) and shrimp and it was pretty good. It was exactly what I expected and I was definitely satisfied. I wish my dollar would get me more, but I can't blame Outback for that - times are tough One member of my party found a living, moving insect stuck between the sour cream and a chive in her baked potato. We found it before any of it was eaten, fortunately. We informed our server of the problem and they made everything right. Again, I have to stress that the Outback staff were absolutely champions. Our server should teach classes on the profession because it was a case study on...
