This restaurant definitely lived up to its rating! I can see why it has so many reviews and such a great score.
With this being the first place that I've chosen strictly from the rating and review count, I wasn't quite sure what to expect but I'm glad I made the choice to visit.
Atmosphere The atmosphere definitely set the mood for a traditional Indian dining experience, though because I was seated in the area nearest to the kitchen, I felt as though I had missed out on the focused design and architect of the restaurant - which was unfortunate.
Staff Immediately after opening the door to the restaurant you are warmly greeted by a staff member who takes the count of guests in your party. Once seated, they brought over a water as I glanced over the menus, which I felt was a nice gesture. Typically, the server starts off by talking about the premium beverages list before being told that water is preferred.
Once ready to order, I had asked what is good from the vegetarian menus and the server didn't hesitate to point out an item, showing that he was very confident in his choice (in my opinion).
During the dining experience, I didn't feel pressured into ordering more, boxing up items early, or making forced conversation with the server, aside from when they checked you ensure that the food was served well, which all contributed to my positive experience.
Food I had zero issues with the food; it was excellent and the portions were more than enough for a party of one. I do wish that I had more time with the appetizer as it was served with the entree forcing me to choose which one I wanted to eat warm vs hot. I find that this is a common practice among restaurants so it's no fault if theirs... It's just frustrating at times. Personally, I'd rather delay the entree, even 5 minutes behind the appetizer so that I can have the chance to enjoy both.
Price The price was reasonable for the portions. An appetizer, entree and side all came to about $30, with a take home box. Since I was solo, I probably could've skipped the appetizer and side for a lower price point and still been satisfied, but naan bread is my weakness.
Overall I'm satisfied with my decision to stop here for dinner. It's a bit out of the way, but I'd gladly return with my family or friends to let them enjoy the...
Read moreI'm beyond upset. I ordered food online. There was barely any sauce for my samosas (pictured). I meant to order butter chicken but ordered chicken curry instead. Garlic naan was burnt. I called to ask for a replacement. Man over the phone repeatedly told me I ordered online. I understood that. I just wanted the order replaced. He was reluctant and was just going to give me a refund for the naan. I didn't want a refund just fresh non burnt naan. Told me it would be ready in 25 minutes. When I got there the cashier was smiling and I said is this my replacement (the bag clearly had my name on it). I sat the food bag down of the food I was returning. They said hold on you ordered online this is what you ordered pointing to the bag. I said we already discussed this over the phone. Is my garlic naan in here? They wouldn't let me leave until they opened the foil bag of the naan bread I returned. I said yes as you can see it's burnt. They continued to talk about how I ordered the food online. I said I would never come back here again and walked out the door. Very poor customer service. All I asked was for a replacement. Not a refund. Simple. I wasn't going to post anything until you all tried to act as if I was wrong for wanting the correct food and for it not to be burnt. I paid $35 of course I want food quality food. Not to mention you guys have made your container sizes smaller. Last time I got what was like a family size portion. This time it was a single portion. For the same price? I understand inflation but come on. Took a look at my replacement food and that naan was burnt too (bottom...
Read moreThis was our first time dining here, and everything about the experience was exceptional.
The food was fantastic, the service was great, and the atmosphere was clean, cozy, and welcoming—a true hidden gem of a restaurant.
The staff were incredible—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. While I didn’t catch everyone’s names, Benny, Gaurang (apologies if I misspelled that!), and the rest of the team made sure we felt right at home.
My mom, a big fan of Indian curry, has struggled to find a great spot near home. She usually has to go all the way to Seattle for quality Indian cuisine. After dining here, she was thrilled to have discovered such a wonderful restaurant close by.
Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to snap any photos of the dishes when they first arrived (we dove right in—too good to wait!). But I did take some pictures of the dishes we ordered to-go afterward. Trust me, the photos don’t do the food justice!
We ordered four dishes, along with Garlic Naan and Onion Bhaji (our first time trying this appetizer—it was fantastic!). To top it all off, the restaurant kindly treated us to a Pineapple Lassi at the end of the meal, which was the perfect sweet finish.
If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Indian food and outstanding service, I highly recommend giving this place a try. I’m no professional, but this is a spot I’d happily...
