This has got to be the WORST customer service establishment I have EVER been to. I get there at 6:15 PM, look over the menu and place an order and pay by 6:30. I was told it would be a 15-20 min wait, so I waited. I had my 6 mon old with me, those of you with a child understand you dont have time to be waiting for a long time. 45 min pass by and 5 other people came and got their orders.
I was told they were running behind in the kitchen but like I said 5 other orders came and went. I waited another 5 min, I was told they were bagging my food.
Please keep in mind, I'm a very patient person. I usually do not call the manager nor make a scene.
By this time my son had pooped and was crying, this was supposed to be a quick stop. An hr had gone by and they were still bagging my food!!!! How is that possible? I asked to speak with the manager, mind you he passed in front of me 3 times after being called and didnt even acknowledge me, I was furious by this time. I said are u the manager?? I need a refund please. Then miraculously the food arrives.
I told them I didn't want the food and to just give me a refund. The manager did not speak, he didnt apologize, he didnt even look me in the eye, he was totally unprofessional, nor did he care how upset we were. We were just another number.
I understand the place was busy, don't get me wrong but don't tell me 15 min and have me wait over an hour while everyone else was getting their orders and leaving. If you forgot to put it in right away, let me know. There was no communication nor concern from the manager, the waitress just kept saying they are bagging your food now, how long does it take to bag a meal???
My food consisted of 1 order of the Minuta 2 orders of the masitas 1 soup And the cod croqueta
No special order, nothing out of the ordinary. How did I get the short end of the stick? Mind you I've been going to polo norte in hialeah since I was in middle school! I use to go before class and after school so I was hoping now as an adult this new and revamped place would bring me back to...

Read moreReally disappointed with quality of service. It’s a shame because compared to other polo norte this one looks the nicest. I’ll keep going to the flagler location for better service.
Place was empty and server disappeared for a good while. Didn’t give me a chance to add an appetizer to my order. When she finally appeared she had to have ignored me because i waved my arm, called her out loud and even had to resorted to whistling with no luck.
I had to get up and try to get her attention by the kitchen door, when the manager asked me if everything was ok. I explained that she had been taking a long time to come to us because i wanted to add some garlic bread to my order, and at that very moment she came out of the kitchen with our food.
Place was empty and she only had three tables. She focused on the larger table $$ but left us in the cold since it was only two of us. Also food was limited in selection and steak wasn’t that great either. Feels like the place has gone down since the last time. Makes sense now to why it’s so empty.
Managers response was would you like the bread to go 😒. Like really? I wanted to eat it at the table before my food arrived buddy. How about instead you fix the problem of ignoring your clients? I got bread at home thanks.
I really only write reviews when i see amazing service or piss poor service, this one is the latter. Most of my reviews are unfortunately negative. I feel after this whole Covid-19 BS, restaurants suck and everything is subpar in service and quality and no one has any...
