Would give negative stars if possible. Scammers and thieves ! Had my girlfriend's ring resized and it cracked immediately after . This location handled the repair and tried to claim that it was our fault and not covered . They then told us it would be 56 dollars to pick up. After being told " it's can't be changed and it was already approved ( it wasn't ) " they then tried to claim it was 426 dollars ! . Complete scam and bait and switch tactics. Even zales Managers from other stores said this location " had a reputation" . I will be seeking legal action and filing with the Attorney general about this location. The audacity to do shoddy repair work and then try to scam the customer is INSANE. AVOID THIS STORE THAT ARE FLAT OUT SCAMMERS. Its brutality obvious they are trying to shake people down in the hopes they don't ever pick it up and keep the merchandise. When I called the manager was " not available" no matter what day or time. When I finally threatened to get my a attorney involved they finally released the ring back. Absolutely despicable unprofessional behavior. BUYER BEWARE. THEY STILL CHARGED 52 DOLLARS IN THE END. Update : in pursuit of getting back the $52 charge that we were told would not be there we were fed moralized by both the local Zales outlet store as well as customer care. Customer care sat on the phone with me and told me that they contacted the store manager and that the store manager had said that the charge never existed that it was zeroed out. I stated that I had a receipt and provided the receipt number for the $52 charge. The Zales customer care representative said that they had asked the store manager about the receipt and they said that that receipt number didn't exist. I said I did have it and not only did I have it I have the debit charge and where can I send this to prove it. Customer care told me they couldn't help me but they had talked to the store manager and told them that it's supposed to be a zero dollar charge and that I should go to the location and get my money back. I actually had police escort me there in case they tried to trespass me or tried to steal the receipt given how many laws and policies they've already broken getting to this point I thought it was a good idea. The response from the manager was well basically we were going to refund it until you brought police with you now my district manager doesn't want to do it. I demand that it'd be removed anyway after much fussing about in the end they ended up refunding it. But I will never be doing business with Zales ever again. I will still be contacting the attorney general about this location. My biggest piece of advice would be to never buy from Zales and definitely don't buy their warranty as it's not going to cover anything that's...
Read moreI had a terrible experience with Zales... At first... My engagement ring broke only a couple weeks after receiving it. The band broke. The ring got snagged on a blanket while I was sleeping and I woke up to the ring piercing my skin. I took the ring back to be fixed and Zales tried to bill me for the repair. My fiance got a warranty but apparently it only covers lost diamonds, not poor quality metal work when you pay to have a ring resized and expedited. I refused to pay for obvious reasons. After a couple months, Zales tried to lower the cost of the repair but I still refused to pay for a poorly made ring. After my third attempt of going to the store to complain, two workers actually listened and agreed that the repair should be covered especially cause I only got to wear the ring for two weeks before it broke. The manager Amanda and Vivian fought hard for me and now ONE YEAR after I was proposed to I finally get to wear my ring. If it wasn't for Amanda and Vivian this review would be negative stars and I would have blasted this jewelry company on every social media platform. Thank you Amanda and Vivian. Read moreOn June 17th, 2023, I went in to the Washington, PA store for my semi-annual ring cleaning/ inspection, and to look for a silver chain, and I was assisted by Rachael.... she was wonderful from the moment she greeted me! She helped me to choose the perfect chain, and was very helpful while I looked at wedding bands to replace the one my husband lost.... even though she knew I wasn't buying one that day--just looking, because he wasn't with me.... she put no pressure on me whatsoever. While I was checking out, something else near the register caught my eye, and she was very excited with me when I realized that it was a necklace I have been wanting for almost 6 months that was now on clearance! She "oohed and aahed" right along with me at the beautiful necklace, and I felt like I was shopping with a girlfriend rather than a sales associate! Hubby and I don't make certain unexpected purchases without getting the ok from each other, so there was a period of texting back and forth, during which Rachael and I had a nice chat, as the store wasn't busy at the time.
