Update, attempted to call hotel management as the “owner” requested on their response. It is 8:32 am on a Friday 4/26/2024, the person who answered the phone also was very rude when I asked for hotel management, yelled “IT IS 8:30 THEY ARE NOT IN YET!!!” I explained I was responding to the response of my review that was left 5 hours ago, this I guess made her upset and again responded rudely. My review stands except I want to add the owner must have no respect or authority over the horrible customer service that goes on at this establishment.
If I could leave a zero I would. This establishment is the most un professional I have ever seen. I got their most expensive suite. Should be nice I thought. No not at all. Apparently the owners friends from corporate were staying in the room above us , it sounded as though they were fist fighting, bowling, wrestling, fighting , screaming our entire stay. Had to call in the AM to complain and the hotel did nothing about it. Spoke to manager on duty , was told they would comp stay, except one night. Never happened. Also ended up getting a second room just to be able to sleep before driving home for the duration of the day. After a month of promised refund and it not happening I called escalation, nothing, transferred me to property management, which the lady was very unprofessional and rude, very condescending, I’m above you attitude, (me laughing inside knowing I make more in a year then she will see in 2 of her lifetimes)needless to say this establishment stole from me not once but twice, said she was sending a refund right away and what do you know my notification was “pending charge from Hyatt at the meadows for 200 some odd dollars. I have been a business owner for more than half my life , and at no point did I steel from my customers, did I speak down to them, did I refuse to listen or rectify a wrong doing (even if I wasn’t wrong) loyalty on both sides makes a business flourish. And if this hotel is representing Hollywood Casino , as the casino I’d think twice about promoting this childish novice like business management. Do not recommend unless you want a trashy version of what the Hyatt actually is anywhere...
Read moreMy husband and I stayed here overnight on Sept 29th. We enjoyed our stay. There is a restaurant attached to the hotel, Parlay. There is a Hertz car rental, and a starbucks in this hotel as well. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. We asked for extra towels, upon check in, and they provided them for us. There is breakfast provided in the morning. At breakfast, they had hot eggs, sausage links, and potatoes. There was prewrapped individual slices of break to make toast. Butter, jellys & jams were provided. There were prepackaged muffins, yogurt cups, Dole fruit cups, poptarts, prepackaged cereal, milk, apple juice, orange juice, and coffee available. The front desk has pepsi products available to purchase, along with vending machines on each floor. The 4th floor of the hotel has a walkway to the casino. You need a room key to access the access the floors of the hotel from the elevators, (to keep guests safe). The casino is attached to a parking garage beside the hotel. The walkway is not short. It is some what of a hike. We didn't mind. The hotel room was clean. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, sink and hair dryer. The room had a mini fridge (hidden in a cupboard), microwave, tv, tv remote, couch, bed, and desk. The bed and couch were separated slightly by a small divider. The bed was firm but not too hard. We did notice a dog barking down the hall. We could hear it through our walls around 11pm or so. The walls didn't seem very sound proof but we didn't mind. There is a Sheetz basically in the parking lot of the hotel, very convenient and super easy to walk to. Everything seemed super clean. We past the maid in the hallway a few times, and I noticed that they were actually stripping the beds completely while cleaning. 👍I alway worry about dirty beds. We enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. If we ever return to the area, we will...
Read moreWe stayed this past week overnight for at the Hyatt attached to The Meadows in PA. When we got up to our room the first thing we found was that the lid to the toilet seat wasn’t attached, just lying there. We called down to the desk to let them know since there is a $50 hold fee for any damage or anything and we didn’t want to be responsible. Shortly after I showered since we had dinner reservations and needed to get ready, then my husband went to shower and covered in soap/shampoo when the water stopped. My husband then called down to the front desk and the girl who answered said “yeah I just found out it was turned off for the construction” (there was some kind of work being done in the building) “it will be back on in 5 minutes — no wait I’m being told 30 minutes” and then she started laughing! My husband said that he really didn’t find it funny given he was standing there with covered in soap and shampoo. She laughed again and he asked for the manager. Then manager “James” got on the phone and my husband ask why we weren’t given some kind of warning since we had only just checked in less then an hour prior. James that he knew it was inconvenient but that it should be less than 30 minutes but his tone was incredibly unprofessional and you could tell he couldn’t care less. Roughly 15 minutes later the water came back on. Other than that it was fine, just very disappointing that there wasn’t even an apology, we understand things happen, but that’s not how you talk to guests. We will choose a different hotel in the area next time. We didn’t ask for any kind of discount and one was not offered....just like an apology...
